So,,,, My Holms Hobbies servo required a small bit of trimming to the Servo Mount crossbrace to fit correctly. Did That.

Now my 25t Vanquish servo horn wont work, due to clearance issues.
I've ordered a couple Servo horns that I THINK might work.

I even ordered a Bumper/Crossbrace servo mount that MIGHT bypass the whole problem.

I really didnt think replacing the steering servo was going to be such an issue
I Should a Known:oops:

What I SHOULDA done from the Beginning is ask the Forum SCX10iii owners,

"What High Torque aftermarket servos are you guys running without fitment issues in YOUR Trucks?"

I don't have am scx10III so no idea your issue but I've had to modify plenty of servo horns for clearance in other applications/ vehicles. No way you could do some grinding or trimming?

Not with this Servo horn. The Stock Axial horn has a big, "OFFSET?",,,,allowing the working part of the horn to clear the frame.

The Vanquish Horn (the one I got anyhow) Sits nearly flat on the body of the servo. The horn cant even be tightened all the way on the splines because it starts rubbing on the plastic Mount/Crossbrace. Also the horn can only move a few degrees to Driver side then it actually hits the Frame.

The OFFSET on the Axial horn provides the clearance necessary for the horn to swing without hitting anything,,,,,until you approach full throw anyway.

Here is a Pic. Stock Axial Horn on Left. Red Pointer pointing at the Offset. You can see there is a smaller offset on the other end too.

Vanquish Horn on the right is pretty much flat.
