So..for clarification sake, here is a photo of the boxes I'm talking about (Maybe its not just the RTR they come with)...

These boxes...once they're build it seems the one sides got a latch, that you could potentionally put something through...however, I dont see anything in the kit for that. Is it ment to just be a random screw, or is there an item in the box that I'm just missing (The instructions didn't really tell me).

So if you've built these, whats the solution to making them the coolest little item that comes with the RTR?

also, bonus if you've used the horns, how'd you paint them up, and where'd you put them? they're not quite my style, but cool none the less.

Super glue and just snap them together. One side has prongs, the other side is female. I never installed the mustaches

thats my fear, bullhorns look like mustaches...then come the eye lashes.

I was thinking that because the one side is female, it looks as if it could be semi functional. The hope was instead of glueing them together, I might be able to crack one open, and leave some rope sticking out or something, make it seem like they're 'packed full'.

Though I guess, I could just glue one partially open and call it a day.

Those are scale ammo cans.

If you find a small enough pin to go through the hinge they can be functional, but they are just a little too small to be useful for me.

Yeah, I was thinking of spraying them green, and then calling it a day, but they just seem perfect for the little things. I'm gonna hit the hobby shop and see if they've got a small enough pin to go through it, OR see if I can find some coated paperclips, as they might be the right size if I can find an assortment. If not, its just primer, paint, and then maybe I'll label them and call it a day! :) Thanks!

haha eye lashes would be funny. A whole new type of "Drag Build" :lmao:

You can always trim a small part away from the lid just big enough for the rope you want to stick out and shoe glue it in place, then put the lid back on. My buddy painted his cans and it looked good.

a 12mm long m2 fits the ammo can hinge, I wouldn't really say it secures the lid though it just kind of slips over it.

thats the spot! I did end up glueing them, just because the lids feel like they'll break pretty easily. But with a bit of green paint, and some highlights on the logos, these things look sweet!
