SCX10 II Official Picture Thread - No talking!

Custom WIP 10.2 I'm building for my dad, paints not done yet. Mix of spare parts I had, a 10.2 kit and a 3D printer

Recently picked up a third (fourth?) SCX10.2 with my tax return. Got the XJ RTR because of the multi-piece axles. Upgraded the heck out of it with parts from the spares bin. It will serve as the "loaner" rig for my local crawling circle. Looking forward to seeing how many people this little Jeep will bring into the fold. I cheated a little and installed a set of Incision gears so I won't ever have to worry about the transmission going out.

Spares bin upgrades include:
SCX10III shocks from my straight axle kit
Wraith 1.9 wheels and tires
PowerHD 20kg servo
Firma40 ESC/Rx and Spektrum DX3 radio setup I tore out of my Gladiator
Element Trailwalker front bumper
D-rings I wasn't using from an Amazon bumper
Tamiya 27T motor

Technically my SCX10II, when running as a SCX10ii it had axial frame rails, and axial servo horn. Now I replaced the rails too, so This Was my SCX10II, it’s now the Sherpa 10ii or known a BSii. Running an Axial servo horn .

BeaSii......... that’s BSii

Day before was the first crawler meetup of the year, got to drive both until I stripped the servo gears in the TRX4.

A little over a year after stripping out the electronics, axles and transmission from my Trail Honcho for other projects, it's back on the trail. It's not got a shiny new Cliffhanger body along with Vanquish wheels and BFG Krawler tires.
