Looks fantastic. On those new drive shafts have you had any seperation issues? My buddy has a Axial AX10 and the drive shafts keep coming off. Anyway nice job.

Yeah every once and a while they pop out, but i think its from the angles that the shafts take from the bigger shocks. Are you running a stock suspension?

Real nice Honcho! Im liking the white! Its my favorite color for a Truck! Good Job!

Thanks man! Im planning on painting the diamond plate black, trimming the front bumper a tad, and painting the skid on the front black as well. Should make the white pop more. Was thinking of painting the beadlocks gunmetal or black..

Man, awesome looking rig. Great job on that.

What is the Duracell battery for? Is that what runs the lights?

Can you post a pic of the rig without the body on it? I am still trying to decide what I want to get.

Thanks and great job

Thanks man.. the battery is for extra weight. Its not much but it helps a little bit for some more traction in the rear since the battery is up front.. Ill get a picture of both of ours sometime tomorrow.

Personally I like the honcho's wheelbase better, but i like the style of the honcho body alot when its done right..

I like the photos! The Galaxy S is a great phone :) Love mine!!

Im personally not a fan of the White body.. it just looks incomplete.. but each to their own ...

The battery looks like its been added for some rearward weight.. I could be wrong.. but it doesnt look to be connected to the rear tail lights..
Have you weighted your wheels? The flex images, where you didnt roll look the goods! Thats a HEAP of body roll, and I say 'Props' for keeping its wheels planted!

If the choice is between the Dingo and the Honcho.. Id personally go the Honcho, as its wheel base is slightly longer than that of the dingo, and as far as I can recall, the battery position for the Dingo is in the rear, whilst the Honcho has it front mounted. Would be good to see both rigs with no shells on as a comparison.. This question has been raised previously many times.. yet still no one comes thru with images. as a comparison..

Im a fan of the 2.2's.. They work really well.. but for the scale comps down here(aussie land) its a nogo..
TSLs FTW THOU!

Love the galaxy, great overall phone. The white im not crazy about but i like it better than the stock green. Im hoping to black everything out here soon, make it pop better. I also ordered a RPM 6 led light bar for the top, that should be sweet. I just need to order LED's now.

I too am impressed with how the rig handled without tipping, the incline was steep in the first place, and then having long shocks too was surprising that it didnt roll. But, the heavy ds, heavier motor, battery, mud caked tires, bigger tires, the weight adds up. I need a scale.

Did a little changing up yesterday. I took the side parts off the bumper and trimmed it, and painted the skid black. Also changed the light housings to these ones that came with the kit, didnt even put 2 and 2 together. Also I re did my back lights, looks a ton better now that its up high where i can see it. Only worry about damaging them now, but that should be fine for now.

Will repaint the body soon, the white looks weird with the new black bumper

Installed my RPM light bar today, looks pretty sick. My brother got one too. We didnt get LED's yet but we need a link for the lights, switch, and something else i cant remember. Ill get pics up here soon.

Heres some better pictures of the rear lights and new light housings in the front, and the painted skid.

Not clean but i cant take my body off with the wires mounted up somewhere

And then the rpm light bar, pretty simple install. You will need a 1/8" drill bit, and thats it

That looks awesome. If you get a chance post up a picture of it with the lights on at night, I would like to see how bright they are. Nice work

I havent gotten the LED's yet, i need somone to post a link to where to get the lights, switch and the wiring from the switch to the comp. Anyone have any links?

Not my rc, some guy posted his junk on my thread

Havent heard about the comp, mine isnt all that great, its pretty underpowered for a 45t.

I cant believe I didnt notice that somebody else put there photos on your build page. I guess I will have to watch the name next to the pictures. By the way what year Chevy truck is in the background 55-59 and whats going on with it?

Yeah, its a 55 2wd, inline 6 and the 3 speed manual. It was my grandpa's, he passed away and it was sitting for about 10 years, and so we are in process of restoring it doing as much as we can. We got the engine done, tires and wheels, seat was redone, and now we are waiting on some parts so we can get it painted a nice cherry red. We painted the bumpers white, and the wheels white and got chrome hubcaps, new emblems, and all of that. Should be quite the eye catcher.

On topic, went wheeling with the rc and got a couple things done. I had Lifted-ZJ build me a tow strap, he mounted it under the spare tire and wound it up in the rim itself. Its nice and long, might need it someday. Also, the 45t motor took a crap for some reason. I was running it and then it started cutting out alot, to where it wouldnt run anymore. So I went and picked up a Titan 12t motor and love it so far. My integy driveshafts are causing ALOT of binding so i cant crawl at low speeds. Also I took off my venom tires and wheels and put back on the 2.2 axial ax10 tires, they weigh less and is less rotation force for the motor to work, hopefully to make it crawl easier. Ill test it out sometime soon. Though I want to get my old stock driveshafts in so it wont bind at all. Only I suffice my low COG which sucks, cause they weigh alot.

Anyways, ill get pics up of crawling with Lifted-ZJ and VintageCopal. It was hecka fun to crawl somewhere new, with rocks only and no mud which is nice. No more getting ridiculously dirty anymore. Mud will be a rare occasion now.

Nice Honcho it looks real good with the 2.2's and interesting choice with that Duracell for weight I haven't seen any body do that yet.

Thanks dude, this is my first scaler, i want to build another one some say thats more of a scaler not a crawler but its all fun still. The duracell is gone now, but it helped more than you would think

I got the pictures uploaded. Ill just upload ones of mine for now and a few of the other guys. Some show my tow strap i got now

Some update.. i took of the ax10 shocks, 120mm i believe is what they were.. but anyways i put on some proline 90mm shocks and i like them a lot more. No more body roll and no more flopping, or as much flopping. Also I got some baja claws from a member here, lifted-zj

Heres some pictures of offroading, didnt do much cause my rear shaft came out, AGAIN and my bros steering wasnt working well. These were before my claws but i did switch shocks.

Still no update on the batteries, i want those and need them bad
