Martin, yup, they got some in stock.

Thanks for checking Derek. I ordered them at HT in folsom then went home to pack up the honcho in the box I got the ftoy and there was a bag in the bottom with all the parts I've been looking for  So started working on getting it together last night. I've got a vp dig setup from my comp crawler that I thought I could fit into the chassis but don't think it will work with a interior (I wasn't going to use it in comps, but since I have it). If nothing else I may need to get my daughters honcho back from Grodie to run next week ;-) Need to get my slash ready for tomorrow night too. Speedworld "thumbsup" Nice pics Scott

I'll be there with or without a rig  Should have my daughter's honcho back together. Hand brothers frame servo mount a little more complicated than I thought  Drilled the holes for her bumper and sliders and mounted her winch. Ftoy won't be ready though..

We had a nice turnout last night. I think 8 trucks. 2 very tough courses. It almost seems like the compers from Monday night may have moved a bunch of rocks around  :lmao: If anyone knows local spots around the area we can scale at feel free to post up "thumbsup" A few of us are going to try and get some stuff done in our yards to change things up once and a while.

OK, Bill pm'd me saying he was going to head out to a couple places to check them out for scaling so I did the same after running around getting stuff done. These may turn out like crap as I took them with my phone and moved them to my computer. 1st 3 are in Orangevale off main and sunset. Small stones which will move by just stepping on them but has some vertical climbs. No more than 1 hours play time IMO. I think it's a horse trail or something. The last few are at a local park in folsom with a kids water feature. That looks to have potential as a course is already set up. I think 2nd to last is a group of rocks by a tree. That for sure will be out of the general area of kid travel. The last is probably the best pic of the nice course I think we can run but its a sand pit so not sure if kids play in that. There are volleyball courts set up with picnic tables so weekends will probably be busy. I know I've been there a couple times. I'll run both once my rig gets put back together to see if either is worth having a G2G. The park area also has what looks to be a nice hill to climb (for the rigs, not so easy for us)

Hey Chad, nice to have you out and your toyota almost looks like it has a aluminum body on it "thumbsup"

Thanks. The Toyota looks like it has a aluminum body is in it future you cant beat that ran hard look . If I hadn't dropped my camera I would post a updated pics it a lot different now. see you next week.

OK guys I also checked out a few spots today. First was under the bridge (now that would be a good name for a song) at Douglas Blvd. and Riverside Dr. Not to bad, but alot of homeless guys hang out under and around the bridge. Second was Deer Park in Rocklin, alot of guys use this spot and it has alot of areas that we could use for the scalers. You could easily spend 2-3 hours here with no problem. Most of the rock is also in the shade which is cool this time of the year. Third was also in Rocklin off of HWY 65 and is called the Waterfalls. This is used by some of the local guys and is more geared towards crawlers but there is also a few good areas for the scalers. I think we could set up a few courses here for sure. My first pick would be Deer Park, then the WaterFalls, and I dont think I would go back to the Riverside bridge again. Any body up to checking these two places out tomorrow or Sunday?? Until the back side of Folsom is open on the weekends one of these might work for us, and either would work for our weekday scale comps.LMK:)

Ok, everybody !!!!!!!!!!!! me and Bill are going to Rocklin Sunday, who's in ???????????????????

Arrrhhhhh  You guys probably heading out early but I won't be able to make it 'til after 1-2. If your running that late I can meet up. Just got my daughters honcho back so will put it together. I got the hand brothers servo installed and looks like it's got some nice steering throw and along with vp high steer it should work nice.

The Honcho looks good Martin. I tried to use a set of the VP high steer 0 ackerman knuckles but they rubbed really bad on the tires. I think we are going to be there around 9 or so on Sunday, Sunday, Sunday:lmao: Come on you guys lets check this place out to see if it will work for us. PM me for directions if interested. *EDIT* I was looking at your knuckles again and it looks lke yours are curved in a little where the tie rod attaches, the ones I have shoot straight forward above the knuckle. I used that kit on my other SCX and to get the sterring link a litle more level I used the Axial off-set rod ends, it helped a little
