San Diego RC Crawlers

I'll be there cause someone has to show you guys how to crawl. See you on sat. I will put the word out to the hobby shops up here and try to get some more people out.

Raul Make sure to bring some spare parts and tools so you can make the whole trail so we can learn something other than how to break down.;-)

Hey guys
Just move a 5 bed house in to a 3 bed house can you say no FUN!!!! Just got intrenet back.I wiil try to go on sat if I can find my rig. Hopefully it made it to the new house LOL.

Well it's Saturday morning.. Now just waiting for my ride to show up.
Bringing my formula 4x4 to test drive..

Was really cool to meet everyone out there, I had a blast till I rolled into the creek! Blew out the speed control and receiver with an air hose, stuck em' in the sun for a few hours and waa-laa, back in business! Ready to go again!

That's good to hear your electronics will live.
and that there will be another driver."thumbsup"

I'm working on a headlight system for night crawling. the first mockup the mounts rub on the tire, so I will have to design a different mounting system. It is a savage bumper with some lights I got from e-bay.

Cool, my buddy that got me into this has lights on his hardbody Jeep he got from a Nylint. Looks really cool and the body fits good too. I just picked up a set of Imex Rubicon's soft compound at Hobby Central. So far they are waaay better than the stock tires, but I need to drive them some more. I was only foolin' around in the yard on my rockpile, but they grabbed things that the stock Lizards would spin on.

I would like to check those Rubi's out next time, good to hear they are working for ya so far. Hey Russ where's all those photos and videos you guys took, I'm interested in seeing them bad boys."thumbsup"

I was having trouble loading them in vegas. then today I found out Greg's camera's videos won't work in vegas. I have to use windows movie maker.
So I will get to work on that tomorrow. Sorry for the delay. There are some good shots of the sw3, and cheatin's scorpion draining some water.

Saturday I will be going to fiesta island to do some formula 4x4 testing on the sand hills..
and some t4 in the backyard afternoon.

It rained all morning untill around noon.. about 2 I went to fiesta island, it was perfect, I had a blast chasing and being chased by dogs, and roosting up the hill side. Super good fun."thumbsup"

I'm always game for a new location and meeting new crawlers. Post up a time and place and let's see what everyone says. I've mad a few changes to my truck that work really good, so I'm ready whenever everyone else is. Nice trucks BTW!

Nice buggy man, I remember you mentioning it at Felicita. I'm free Saturday as is my buddy who just bought a Scorpion, we were thinking of Felicita if everyone's up to it, or anywhere for that matter. This weekend should be sunny, may rain the week after they say...
