San Diego RC Crawlers

Felicita park has the best crawlin in Esco. Dixon lake has a couple spots and there is a good rock just before the 15 over pass on Rock Springs rd. Felicita by far has the most terrain.

Off of Friars under or near the trolly tracks or along the San Diego River bank west to sports arena or sunset blvd's. Just south of Sea world
There is a lot of rock to play on "thumbsup"

yeah but i was thinking further west from qualcom closer to sea world. but the whole mission valley probably has all kinds of potential.

some one earlier in this thread mentioned behind the staples is good.

I live just up on the south rim of mission valley not to far away..

Cheatin' and I are going to El Monte County Park and check out the rock faces this Saturday around 10 - head out if you're interested.

Take El Monte Road east out of Lakeside and you'll see the place. Enter and head right to the end of the parking area...

Hi all!
Names Dave I'm also very new to this whole Crawling thing and I'm really enjoying it.
I live in Escondido CA and haven't gone out really aside from a place in Fallbrook and Took my Ax-10 to Parker Az ( that was a blast ) .
any way just wanted to pop in and say Hi.
I look forward to hitting up some rocks around town.

Thanks

DB

Welcome to the forum, Dave. You have the best crawling spot in the county right in your area (Felicita Park), and it's a regular get together (GTG) spot for everyone. Keep an eye out for posts for GTG's, and perhaps we'll see you there sometime.

Very cool. I have seen some cool places at hodges , but I haven't been back as of the last time I was there the lake was still closed due to the fires and they want the area to grow back some.
I will keep my eyes open for when you have the GTG and will swing by.

Thanks again.

DB

Hows everyone doing?
I got my crawler working again ( it's been down for almost a month) and the trails in my yard are open for use. I plan to have a GTG mini comp soon.

Don and I are working on the trails today. Putting up a safety rail on the bridge so every one is safe from the four foot fall.( in scale that's a 48 foot fall )

Russell, thanks for opening up the Georgia St. International Raceway on such short notice.
Is showing up around noon to one good for you?

have you guys checked out the new visionary fabrications dig setup for the scorp trans. it is bad, i just ordered one. it is 79.00 delivered.

When is the next GTG ?? I'm ready.

Ty and Quattros, thanks for coming by and checking out the trails at GIR..the next day I cleaned most of the trails we failed on when you were here. When things dry up a bit more they should be easy;-) I totaly made it up the rock stack on the lower wall next to the stick bridge. and I made it up the stick bridge also."thumbsup"

Don just got a parts order from RCP so he will be back on the trails soon too.

Felicita Saturday....

Cheatin' and I are most likely headed for Felicita on Saturday, the usual 10 or so. Might check out some of the other areas this time.
