Sacramento Scaler GTG/Comps

Really? Bummer man, I do like the 1:1 idea though. I even got Jerry to make it.

Yeah I wana start with the basics though since this will be my first vehicle that I'm purchasing for mainly trail. So I'm thinking a close to stock xj. Heard tons of good things about them and they do really well stock, let alone minor mods!

Dang that sucks man! XJs are good right out of the gate, only complaint I ever hear is you hear every noise the body makes. Toyotas are also another good starter. Both have lots of aftermarket support"thumbsup"

Toyota or nothin..but I'm biased too and have built 4 different rigs..plus a few street trucks. Actually i've only ever bought Toyotas. My first pickup was a 79'.

$4k to put into it and a good healthy running 4x4 Toyota will build a rig that will run anywhere...and put any Jeep to shame. I'd rather not wheel then wheel a Jeep! :flipoff:

I got the Jevne plate in the new rig and the AX2 trans. Also bought a proper battery. UD's for the rear diff came in today. Jerry has a AX2 sitting here waiting, he needs a new radio to run it so I'm selling him my 4pl. I ordered a 4pls last night, wasn't really expecting to to that but what the hay.

The Yota is always ready to go and the Chevy is getting close"thumbsup"
