Lol, yeah I know...long story short not everyone is part of the gsrcc crew or even the thread so I wanted show my sac locals my new topkick! And then decided to start a build thread which will show my progress and build from the point of me getting my truck back from my dear friend zonkerd! He really helped me out on this and just wanted to show appreciation. He does this work for fun so i figured the least I could do is rep it!

Hello everyone. I'm new to rc crawler. Been lurking for a while reading various threads trying to learn more about this aspect of RC. I am getting addicted to crawling and trail driving.
My flag ship vehicle is a Summit. I know it's not a scaler but I would love to have some folks to meet up with to crawl and trail run around Sacramento. Just wanted to see if the Summit would be welcome or if you are all just trying to stick to strictly scalers on your get togethers?
Either way just wanted to check in and say hi. Thanks.

Hello. I wouldn't mind running up at Folsom. I'm new to the site and this area of RC but I am getting addicted fast. I don't have scaler but I do have a Summit. If the Summit is welcome I would love to meet some folks up at Folsom. Or around the area if our schedules work out.

What time at folsom? Still at the same spot thru main entrance to dottons I believe it is? Just got another crawler a month or so ago. Has been years since I crawled at Folsom Lake. I will be out there early so I can get back to watch the Niners game.
I think they'll be runming the comp crawlers at 8am or 9...but they are going to Beales. Dont got a comp crawler so that's why im not 100% on the time but I met up with Elio this morning and from what I remember he said 8

Mine is a RTR Honcho. So by far a comp crawler. Is beales any good?
Ahhh yeah you wouldn't enjoy it then, actually you'd still have fun running a scaler by yourself but the comp rigs are just unreal...beales is cool spot ever since I sold my comp rig and got into my wraith and scx10 I go to dottons or oak. But beales is free!!! If you got the time you should really roll out to Penryn. Awesome for your scaler. And their will be several others to trail with!
