Sacramento Scaler GTG/Comps

The Axial SCX-10 Honcho or JK Rubicon seem to be popular. Or the PSC Wraith. All are available in RTR.

There has been some scattered interest in a gtg at Folsom but it never seems to happen. Post up the day before if you do go out there. You might get a couple of ppl to show up.

I'd guess things always ebb and flow depending on what's going on in life. I'd be out but with you guys but my wife and I just had a son a month ago and i'm kinda stuck on diaper duty these days...but next year I'm planning on hitting up scaling in full force "thumbsup"

Well I went up to the Rubicon Trail this morning. Chased the Wraith in to Little Sluice Box. Drove about 3/4 of the way through the box. The slipper started well slipping so I turned around. Transmitter batteries died about 1/2 way back and I had to carry the Wraith out. :evil:

I did get some footage with the GoPro. I'll try to make a watchable video tomorrow.

I was probably going to take the Wraith up to the Rubicon Trail again and see if I could make it all the way in to the springs. Might even camp out for the night.

Im heading up to the Rubicon Sat morning to play around with the crawlers with my 6 yr old. Got him a crawler and he loves it. So I need to take him to a place where there is some flat rock to get him used to the crawling speeds in stead of full throttle all the time. If anyone is up there stop by and say hi. I will be in a stock 95 blue 4runner.
