wtf kenton got a honcho???? new or used?
time to get ur scale on and enter the dark side of this scaler madness. see ya on the rocks bro

if i get my ass in gear and re-do my electronics this week to make room for a BEC in my project boxes, I may be able to come crawl Friday evening with y'all. Never knew there was a park there or areas to crawl.

I'd love to be able to see a list of ALL the local places known to have areas to crawl. Maybe we can make a list and somehow get it to a convenient location in a thread so people can find it.

hey jeff - how do you like your Baja Claws after all the crawling you've done with them? are you running stock foams inside and are they vented? mine are w/stock foam unvented - I've already cut some lugs and siped the crap outta them, but debating venting or messing with foams to improve them more.

Hey perk, get your rig together!! Its gonna be fun Friday :) my baja"s are alright. I like how scale they are but they don't have the performance of a flat iron, I decided to stick with them run em till there bald and see how they do all the way threw and get an honest opinion. I still have mixed emotions. They do Great on slippery surfaces like river rock and logs, but hate granite and the steeps? I know if you cut them up there a great tire like how my boys Rick and Zonkered run em. But they don't look like a Baja once you cut them. And that's the only reason I run them for the look. Lol I would also keep your wheels undrilled, the water will ruin your foams. get that beast together and see ya on the rocks!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337103744.090473.jpg

^right on. that's why i didn't vent mine initially, but then i find myself hardly ever going through water since I don't wanna have to clean the rig...
here's how mine are cut and siped, so they still look like a baja claw. FR tire was the test subject, but all others look like FL tire. i did find they grab slightly better backwards.

Looks great!!! Lets get our crawl on!! Did you see the video I made from our last outing? Didn't get that much footage but it turned out alright

just watched it. yeah, after that run i chopped off the back half of my rig and went back to shock towers - significantly improved the tire lifting/rollover problem. trial and error i guess...
