have a question for you guys.this is the esc that came with the rig GTB Brush/Brushless ESC
it say's 6v bec so i ordered my servo and it says like 611oz@7.4v .please correct me if im wrong but wont the servo only see 6v? unless i wire it strait to the battery correct? I'm sure i wont need 600oz BUT you never know. LOL

The 6v is an internal bec in that esc. To Get the 7.4v you need to get a castle
Bec and you can program it to 7.4 volts and it by passes the bec in the esc. Hope that helps. Honestly the castle bec is one of the best 25$ you can spend on your rig.

most esc bec's don't put out enough amps to power it and a high torque servo. add a CC bec and pull the red wire on the esc plug as directed.

if you dont have a castle link, have the hobby shop you get the bec from to program it to the voltage you want, if they won't for free, or can't, find another hobby shop.

i y-harness mine with the servo to the receiver plug and never a glitch issue.

What sumquak said but another thing to remember some receivers won't take over 6 volts so if that's the case wire the red and black wire from the external bec straight to the servo and only connect the signal wire (white or yellow) to the receiver. Don't pull the red wire on your esc so your receiver could be powered by esc bec (internal bec)... hope this all makes sence....
