S.a.c..... Crwalers

I want to try doing a comp. My rigs are pretty much bone stock, but hey, you gotta start sometime, right? Is there a class for beginners with stock rigs?

In the same boat. I've just been side tracked by NOT HAVING A JOB :x But getting close. I'll let the other guys answer but as far as I know Tuesday nights at Cap City is the place to start. Novice and open class. Can be a little intimidating with 30-40 guys running though. But like you said we all have to start somewhere. I'll be there racing my slash for the first time tonight. Been 20+ years since my last race

Cool, it would be nice to get some pointers as we drive. I keep thinking your rig is Matt's. I guess he sold his. I just got a new losi yesterday. My first "new" rc in years. Couldn't pass up the smokin deal. I'll check out the links but seem to remember the club is a little further out. I'm checking on which is the best brushless for the losi. Thanks and look forward to meeting you guys.

This just came across my mind. Anyone in or around the Sacramento area familiar with rockscapes (landscaping)? I'm working on my yard but if I can get someone to do a rock course that doesn't look like a bunch of rocks thrown into a pile I may be able to get away with it with my wife. LMK

If the price is right, I might be interested too.

Just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in doing a rock race series. I've been talking to Dan over at Folsom bowl about building a course. They are already working on a crawler course to do a series. Thinking something with some doubles, rock piles, running a few guys heads up. Just want to get a feel for how many guys would be interested in it.

Hey Darren, Andrew over at BBT said they are having a comp there on 7/12. If I find the right brushless for my new losi I'd be in on the rock race as my first comp.

NCVRCC Club Comp

Just a reminder to all the guys in the Sac area if you are interested we are having our first club comp this Saturday, every one is welcome and we would be glad to have you join our newly formed club, but that is not necessary to compete at any of our comps, only if you want to be in the point series and have a chance at going to the nor cal finals next year, that is our goal"thumbsup" Hope some of you guys can make it up there.

NO most of us crawl @ CAP. CITY R/C on teusday nights, comps. start @7:00 pm and you can show up late if need be. Folsom was closing oak point on weekends and natomas has a lot of poisin oak. And we have been hitting alot of out of town comps. to see what they had!"thumbsup"

dotons

Rode out to Dotons this weekend and the main rocks are high and dry. Might have to hit some cool early morning crawls out there soon. Just an F.Y.I. for those itching to get back out there.
