S.a.c..... Crwalers

It really not that long of a drive just around Colfax area, I guess though if your coming from downtown sac area it can be a bit of a haul. The area is sweet though, I mean there is so much rock to crawl on that is almost ridiculous. I had a blast out there on Friday. Oh and because it's BLM land, there aren't anti-alcohol signs like Folsom lake and Rainbow Bridge (actually was kicked out of there for drinking beer, ranger was cool though.) "thumbsup"

try colfax-iowa hill rd a in colfax . the road is paved the whole way to the river better crawling there to i raft and camp here alot in the spring

I will have to check that spot out, I really like the idea of paved roads, I am a little sketched out about the dirt road in my car, just because I have street tires.

hey ForumSnow, what area do you live in. I live Near Antelope, just west of Roseville. Perhaps a carpool up to that spot would be the way to go. I just crawled up at Emigrant Gap today. I love going to the mountains to crawl.:)

I wouldn't mind checking out any of the places listed and would be happy to car pool with you guys and kick in some gas money"thumbsup", I live near watt ave and I-80, I'd drive but my van just doesn't like going up to the mountains, it starts over heating:shock:

Yeah a carpool would be a good idea, it would really cut down on gas. I am living in the roseville area. I bet Emigrant Gap was pretty sweet, you gotta post some pics if you have any. I used to drive down there every once and a while to go hike around the rivers.

I have a full-sized truck that can seat 5 and should make it to any spot that we want to go (unless the road gets too narrow). Saturday, the 18th, seems to be a good day to go if anyone else is up for it. I can't go on Sundays, so don't ask.

Sorry, no pics this time. But I found out that my Creeper goes up icy snow just as well as it goes up rocks.

I would like to go with you that day as long as I don't have a comp that day"thumbsup"

Yeah, the 18th sounds like a good time, as long as nothing comes up between then. I hopefully can work out some bugs in my crawler, Just got dig and trying to play around with that, plus my dig servo is moving around under throttle, cannot figure out what is wrong with it, might just be fried.
