Put some time in on the cage. Added some anti squat per a group members suggestion and made some slider plates along with a tucked up skid plate.

That's almost full weight/ride height! 3.125"

Kinda tight to work on

Also finally mounted my haas fairhead and switched over to my Locked Up RC blue winch rope. I put on some LURC front hubs/wheel nuts as well and they look awesome!

So I haven't posted in a long while, been busy. I comped the truck a few times with the tube bed and the mickey t's! It did pretty well. Really good steering angle, and lots of powa!!!

Then i decided I wanted to go another route with the truck, I didn't like the front bumper overhang, the body was slow to remove, the A-pillars were weak and unprotected, the sliders were parallel to the ground, the battery box in the bed kept wanting to slide out, there wasn't enough weight in the back of the truck, I wanted bed sides, and a few other ideas I had. So I went to work.

I started by trimming the bottom of the cab

Then I cut the rear cage loose

I had hoped to re-use the main hoop and support bars, but they didn't work for what I wanted. So I bent a new main hoop and went to town on it.

Bent a second hoop to go across the windshield

Added some A-pillar protection and support bars

Then I started work on the exo. You don't see these trucks exo caged, so I had to be a bit creative on the design

Added on my bed sides, and started their exo work

Started the fender protection, not a single flat body panel on this truck, everything is curved, this makes quite a challenge.

Then I moved to the front bumper

I had wanted to make the body flip up with just 1 or 2 screws or pins, but I wasn't sure how I wanted to make it happen.

I made the frame plates for the front and rear cage mounts, but I wasn't sure how I was going to incorporate the boatsides and sliders into this equation. I managed to make some places for the main cage to rest on the sliders preventing them from bending up, made the front winch mount attached to the cage and 2 bolts into the cms mount. It worked pretty slick
