Just got my Wraith yesterday.<?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" oreferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"> <v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke><v:formulas><v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f></v:formulas><vath o:connecttype="rect" gradientshapeok="t" o:extrusionok="f"></vath><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shapetype><v:shape style="WIDTH: 11.25pt; HEIGHT: 11.25pt" id=_x0000_i1025 alt="0" type="#_x0000_t75"><v:imagedata o:href="http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif" src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\DENISP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\01\clip_image001.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape><o></o>
<o></o>
Now I read a lot of post saying that it was best to go over the truck tightening bolts and checking the diff case.<o></o>
<o></o>
Well both of my diffs were mounted wrong way compare to Axial drawings in their manual.<v:shape style="WIDTH: 11.25pt; HEIGHT: 11.25pt" id=_x0000_i1026 alt="0" type="#_x0000_t75"> <v:imagedata o:href="http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif" src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\DENISP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\01\clip_image002.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape><o></o>
<o></o>
Now I tried to put it the way it was suppose to be. The front with the ring gear on the long side of the axle and the rear on the short side. <o></o>
<o></o>
Front no problem, rear if I do that it binds the ring gear on the pinion so bad that it is almost impossible to turn.<v:shape style="WIDTH: 11.25pt; HEIGHT: 11.25pt" id=_x0000_i1027 alt="0" type="#_x0000_t75"> <v:imagedata o:href="http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif" src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\DENISP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\01\clip_image003.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape><o></o>
<o></o>
It is like the shaft is too long and when I put the axle end cap for the bearing on it pushes it too far in.....<o></o>
<o></o>
Any idea or someone had that happen to them. I know change ring gear side for proper motor rotation....<o></o>
<o></o>
Thanks for the help.<o></o>
