Big Thanks to Parker, B-rad and all others for organizing and officiating an incredible event. A huge debt of gratitude to my heroes of the day. Somehow on the first tiny, little wet spot I was able to get the steering servo just damp enough to make it produce a flume of white smoke. This was gate 27 of 200 total. Knowing my backup was sitting on the bench at home, I resigned to putting the rig away and sulking the rest of the day. Along comes George with a friendly smile and a titanium geared servo for me to use.
Before the race could get started Dan Wilson notices that I have a broken suspension link (which I'm pretty sure he broke cause he was scared of the Sgt. Slaughter machine). The gentleman who fabs the trophy's takes me to his truck, finds an aluminum replacement and a back-up to carry with me. At the end of the day I tried to return them and he insisted that I keep them. I am extremely proud to be a new member of a family that reaches out to help those around them with total sincerity. To my heroes, one of these days the beer is on me. Parker, also one of these days I get to be in charge and we'll see who's doing the freakin jumping jacks.

What a beautiful day to go out and "Embrace the Suck" with another RECON G6 adventure. The weather was incredible and the trails were awesome. Thank you Axial Racing for two unbelievably performing vehicles. My SCX10 earned me a first place finish in the Ultra class and my Wraith shredded the trails so quickly it was to early to determine my finish by the time I loaded up and headed back to Reno. A big thank you to Brian, Stewart, Brad, and Cole for a great time with good friends out at Sugar Pine Reservoir!!!

WOW, all I can say is WOW this was all that my imagination thought a scale event could and should be. And thanks to Parker and the entire Recon crew the G-6s are all of that and more. Great to see some old friends and new, and thanks brokennib for helping me through my first G-6. Cant wait for the next one"thumbsup"

Great to start the new Recon G6 season. Started out driving with Dan taking it easy, enjoying a nice drive on the lookout for G tags and green army men and caught up to Mike and Noah along the way. Come to find out Noah busted a cvd and had no spare. So we stayed together almost to the finish helping each other along the trail. I had a good time "thumbsup" finishing right under the wire.

These are the only pics I got. Ultra drivers in the front row, Adventure drivers and if you look real hard you'll see the 2.2 drivers in the back.

And as a lot of you know back at the haunted rock park g6 there was some stuff stolen and Brad's honcho was one of them. G6ers and non G6ers was there to help. Sending stuff to get going again. Well some stuff got there and some didn't. Well Bruce of BP Chassis came up with this BPC chassis with some goodies. So with the stuff that was donated B Rad should be up and going for the next G6, good job guys "thumbsup"

Awesome time yesterday and once again an awesome job done by Parker,Brad,Cole and Stuart. Thanks for all that you guys do.

Thank you guys for a great start in the g6'n, for most I want to thank axial and the sponsors who have provided great products which allows us all to get more involved with this great hobby. The greatest thing with those like RC ROCK ARMOR, BPC and others really shows passion for the products provided because it allows you to go above and beyond with tuning and customization. THANK YOU

Also had a great time running with EVERYONE, from watching those ultra guys blaze off the start too the adventurist doing work it was a great time. Met new people, saw some great rigs out there.

Is it time yet for the next one???

Well after my 1st G6 all I can say is thanks to Recon, and Parker for alot of work that you guys do so we can have a blast. My Uncle who is only home for 3 month a year is hoping that you are going to have one every month he is back in town next year !!!!! He is hooked.

I learned alot from this run my truck worked great but you have to get out in front of all the road blocks and stuck people to finish on time.

Thank you to all that make this G6 happen.

Thanks PArker,Stu,Brad and Cole for a great adventure at Sugar Pine. My son and his friend had a great time. Maybe by the next one ill have mine ready. Here are the pics the camera took. See yall at the next one.

Great pics, Mr. Zanter and I'm glad D-Man and his buddy had fun!

Thank you for taking the role of Stage Leader and helping G6'ers out all day and being the Rambo of the trash clean up.

We will see you soon getting your scaler fix in a RECON G6! "thumbsup"
