The HOT tent was sure nice too...

Me lil Tundra was kickin up dust. Wasn't sure ut would do so well. Glad I ran it in such an epic event, cause it has the heart of a 2.2.

I was nice seeing everyone again sure could have used one of your bags for the ride home scottanthony.. I must say it was fridgid temps that played hell on plastic parts but damn that was fun and the long drive there and back was worth every minute... See you all at axialfest 2014 with a new build..... Thanks to everyone who showed up...

Had a great time--- thanks all-- my family felt very welcome---wife likes G6--but is thinking she would rather be the cookie and cider lady next Birthday Bash...

My family and I had a great time at the BB3! I popped a rear outdrive in the first half of the first lap but still had tons of fun spotting my daughter and refereeing the boys who were fighting over the same lines KOH style with their wraiths :ror:

Like I told Brian, He has a great thing going here that brings people together unlike anything the RC crawling community has seen. The turn out in sub freezing temps and horrible driving conditions if clear proof.

2013 was a great G6 year and 14 promises to deliver even more adventure!

The driver award was completely unexpected and I am honored!

Proud to be on the train and part of the lifestyle.

G6'n and you know it "thumbsup""thumbsup"

What a memorable g6! Big thanks to Parker and everyone else that made it happen. Me & Cass are gonna attend more g6's in '14 cuz we always have a great time g6'n and ya know it!"thumbsup"

And thats another G6 for the books. I was blown away by the number of people who showed up despite the weather. The course was awesome, lots of cool lines for my Pit Bull tires to eat up. Thanks to the G crew for the hard work. See yall at KOH!

Daniel,

It was great to have you attend the third annual Recon G6 Birth Day Bash.

Thanks for making the trip!!!!!!

Last Sunday was cold , windy, scary at points, and totally off the hook!!! My esc decided it was just too damn cold to play, and the Blue Bastard was out of commission before the event even started. Pretty good sock to the gut after a crazy 4 hour drive in blizzard conditions- could give your attitude a bit of a workout!
What really makes a G6 special for me is camaraderie of fellow G6'rs, A special thanks to Anthony Rivas for the loan of his mean machine! That thing is dialed, and Is a real joy to wheel.
My big surprise later in the day was when I was awarded 1.9 driver of the year!! I'm still staring at the trophy and can barely believe it. You know, when I first started in this hobby in the 80's, it was pretty much a solo thing, none of my friends were into it, and when i ran, always alone, people would look at you like you were a bit odd. Nowadays I am so Grateful for the people I've met and proud of the craftsmanship and skill that I get to see in every one of your guy's builds.... all you guy's make me proud to be a OG6'r .

My buddy and I were the last 2.2 guys that were with you at the bridge/big rock area right at the end. Stunningly slow 1st lap time of two hours and 35 minute second lap time. Was nice to move fast and keep warm.

I thought it was you for a moment but wasn't sure....brain freeze I think....

It was pretty cold that day. We may be running 1.9 next time so I'm sure we'll be pretty close on the trail. I was running my 1.9 with my 2.2 setup but I like it more the way it was before. I really miss the more technical runs on 1.9.
