Think about it, most of the people on this site probably dont have a good source of income besides there allowance, much less paypal. If somebody wants to be part of a public forum to learn and get the help they need, they should be able to do so without needing to donate to the site. Thats just my opinion, argue with it if you must.

Also, I've wondered this for awhile now. These stars must rake in a nice piece of change. What the hell does this money go towards besides hosting the site? I know for a fact that this site is covered as far as hosting goes, and there must be more than a few dollars left over. This is still not including the vendors.

It's called a business and free enterprise. I get a lot of enjoyment from this site and I am willing to pay to be a part of it.

As far as the odds go if you have money to donate you are usually going to make it worth your while. 9 out of 10 who have stars are decent contributors to this site. As for you arguing the revenue of the site maybe you should PM Badger and Jason and see the pics of their new mansions they have bought from all the excess money they get from here.

First off, it's not a public forum you have no right to anything. You can be banned at will if a mod wants to. Second, again no one is saying make people pay to learn/read the site. The pay idea is for the right to post outside of newbie.

This is NONE of your business. This site is not a government run daycare! the owners have a right to charge and not tell you a damn thing about what they do with the money. If you don't like it, you don't pay. You have no rights here. You have privileges!

Do you run a website that sees as much traffic as RCC? No? I thought so. I know RCC costs more than my tiny site which houses the ORCRC forum.
