Quechee Gorge June 14, 2014

I think the rocks will be under water for Saturday we have gotten rain sense yesterday I will double check tomorrow afternoon

Yeah I've been worried that would happen. Backup plan anyone? It's free admission to all vt state parks this weekend and the mt Ascutney summit via the auto road is really fun. Lots of fun trails up there. It's roughly a half hour south of Quechee.

damn rain is trying to spoil our fun. I refuse to let it happen, as I have the day to play with toy trucks.

I'm up for mt ascutney as a backup if the gorge is flooded.

Yeah we can do the gorge on a different day it's the balloon feat this weekend so the gorge will be pack not to mention under water where is the access road for mout ascutney

Anyone else interested in checking out Ascutney on saturday?

I'm going to plan to meet at the I-91 exit 8 park & ride saturday morning, not exactly sure what time. Travis, did you say 10am? That would be fine.

All the rain we've got, it'll be a frickin' blast up there. Everything is more challenging when its wet and slick. It's a nightmare with crappy tires though. lol Pit bulls or tsl-sx or anything in the RC4wd X2SS compound should work. "thumbsup"

I know its getting kinda late in the summer, but my next available weekend to visit the Gorge is July 12 or 13.

Hows that work for everyone?

I will be driving thru there that weekend. We always stop at the gorge anyway and im bringing at least one or 2 rigs. Maybe i will see you guys there lol

I'm up for it don't know if can right yet but will keep you guys updated on if I'm in and water level

So the gorge is looking pretty good day bye today I hope the big rain holds off I'm looking forward to another fun trip

Nice video Randall. Thanks for sharing. I'm surprised you got that much useable video of our ruckus.

I am so looking forward to crawling the gorge on july 13th... weather permitting.

I was up to the gorge yesterday. What a fun place for the Twin Hammer. I'll definitely be bringing it back there again. "thumbsup"
