Looks like it'll be a nice build! First tire looks good too!! "thumbsup" I'm interested to see your progress on this rig.

Hey man tires looking good. I finally posted up the lenghts you were asking for. I could have done all the links with the 3ft rod I ordered from McMaster. I screwed up and had to order another though.

"thumbsup" thanks for the tire info. I wonder how many plow boys I need for a super tire?(thinking hard):???:  oops, to hard. i'll figure it out sooner or later. looks like it's gonna be a good one"thumbsup"

I would think at least 6 for Blast wheels. If you were to use Moab sidewalls it could be 8.
I have been thinking this myself.

I have some proline cheyenne beadlocks that I'm going to use. $12 a pair, less than $30 for a set of 4, I couldn't pass it up. I'll either narrow them and use 2.2 treads:shock: or I'm going to use panther plowboys8). need to get the electronics first then I'll decide on what tires to use.

Little update. Got the wheels narrowed up and the rest of the tires done. Also got shipping confirmation on my axles. Should be here middle of next week. When they get here things will go fast, I hope.
I will have some pics up tomorrow showing progress.

Here are some pics of my tires. I was in a hurry to get to the shop and forgot the camera. I will try to describe what I did.

Super Rover with Moab sidwalls. Two stage Crawler Innovations foams. HPI Blast wheels narrowed to 1.5".

Narrowed Pro-line to 1.5". Cut the back bead off the wheel. Narrowed the center section. Used a sanding drum on the drill press to remove a little of the OD of the center of the rim. Also removed a little of the ID on the back beadlock. This allowed me to slide the lock portion of the rim onto the center scetion of the rim. Nice and snug. Used some medium CA and once it set up ran a bead of Shoo Goo around the joint.

If you look close you can see the center section just below the screw holes.

Thanks for loking.

OK I have been slacking off for a few days. Finally got my axles end of last week so here is what I have got done. Any of you Y-Town guys have any suggestions, please post up. This is my first (real) super. On to the pics.

Weight of one of the Bully axles. 1.175lbs.

The awesomeness of the Super Juice. Just love the lines of this chasiss. I am afraid I will scratch it up. :lmao:

100_4324.jpg

I think the ride height is a little high. More work will be done tomorrow.

100_4323.jpg

Next up is the rear steering and shock positions. Also I hope to get it wired up tomorrow. If you have any comments please post up. All input is appeciated.
Thanks for looking.

Worked on the wiring and got it rolling last night. Cleaned up the wires and worked on the shocks tonight. Here are some of the updated pics.

You know we have to have a flex shot. :lmao:

100_4333.jpg

Stock steering angle. Not too bad but I think there is more to be had in there.

100_4334.jpg

Now I have to learn how to drive the thing. Rear steer is going to take some time to get used too.

100_4331.jpg

Coming soon are bearing mod and knuckle weights. Also need to get a battery mount made up. I have a comp next week, so trying to get it ready for some practice. Her first real comp will be Red Rocks next month. I'm sure I will get a schooled there. :lmao:
Thanks for looking. "thumbsup"

Nice work so far! Yeah, take a dremmel to those tubes and knuckles and you'll have plenty of steering soon! "thumbsup"

internal springs for the shocks are your friends...

it will lower the ride and limit the flex all in one, not to mention the chassis was designed for a semidroop setup"thumbsup"
