Proline by the Fire 2020 | 5/16/20

The story going around town is the Mexican drug cartels are stealing all there water they sneek in to horsemans at night and fill there water tanks there also breaking in to peoples property's and taking water its becoming a huge problem out here I've been hit up myself by a legal grower looking to buy water I'm like uh no

Note to self: LOCK my trailer when I take the crawlers out on the trails at PLBTF... If it still happens.

I get the feeling they just want the water its exspensive and hard to get there not looking for trouble just water

The problem is someone will buy a months worth of water then there tank gets drained overnight and they can't afford more water

Paul Said they'd have a definitive answer by the 5th, I still haven't heard anything.

I think they've got a temporary solution for the water.

just watch for wet bandits...
lock up your water bottles. i need to figure out a way to make my low drains on my trailer anti-water bandit.
but if/when they come to an answer, then i will buy my tickets.

and hopefully fire doesn't ruin proline by the... fire.

************************ UPDATE ****************************

Pro-Line By The Fire 2020/2021 is on, for now. the reality of the situation is that we have been given a positive direction from the Town of Apple Valley that our event will happen. however, given the state of the "Situation" we are in, there is always a possibility that things Could change. We will have a strict safety plan in place for our evet, and given that it is outdoors we should be in a good situation.
If we do not have a 100% approval from the Town of Apple Valley by April 9th, 2021, we will issue a postponement to a later date this year.

Please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns and we will be happy to help in any way that we can.

We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Thank you again for all of your support. Please call or email pwillhite@prolineracing.com with any questions or concerns!

Wishing you good health and safety,

Pro-Line's 5th Annual By The Fire event is right around the corner! We invite you to be a part of it. Camping, Family, Friends, and Fun is what this event is all about. Of course, there might be a little competition in there too! ;)

Since our first event in May 2016, Pro-Line By The Fire has become one of the R/C Scale Adventure events not to be missed. Last year we had 600 Drivers with another 250 spectators, Family, Volunteers, and Vendors. This year we expect 800 Drivers!

6+ amazing trails brought to you by Crawler Clubs that will be competing for the best trail! The entirety of these carefully carved trails will take you on a more than 5-mile loop around the World Famous Horseman’s Center park where you will experience amazing views and incredible lines throughout the amazing monolithic granite surfaces, mesas, and canyons.

SORRCA Comp. the name says it all. This year on the first day of the event, the hardcore compers will rule the day. So prep your rig and get it tuned to compete in the first-ever Scale Comp at Pro-Line By The Fire. A 2.2 unlimited class will also be available!

The Pro-Line Proving grounds ads another level of fun, excitement, and competition to the mix. You won’t know exactly what you are up against until you step-up for these Carnival Themed challenges!

Scale City has become an iconic challenge for the builder in everyone. Now toting over 1,500 sq.ft. of Scale Awesomeness. You’ll want to make sure you take a stroll down these city streets. Get your Camera Ready!

At PLBTF it really pays to wander off for the GPS Scavenger hunt. You’ll be given a GPS coordinate that will guide you within range, but a keen eye is still required to find the target. The effort is worth it! Make sure and collect a Scale picture of your rig at each of the locations, then check-in at the Pro-Line booth to see what you’ve won. Don’t forget to post to social media with #PLBTF20

The Fire! Once the Night Runs start we will be getting the fire going. This is the part of the event that really gets me excited. Sitting around the fire, sharing stories from the day's activities, cooking some hot dogs and making s’mores! A good time to be enjoyed by all! There will be a Fire both Friday and Saturday night.

***Please, if you are to enjoy an adult beverage, please keep them in a cup. This is a family event and we want to set a good example for the kids. Thank you!***

So, why don’t you join us By The Fire. We look forward to seeing you there!

If you are interested in having a booth for your company at our event, Please contact pwillhite@prolineracing.com for more information.

Well Matt mentioned this event on the SNU the other day and I'm just wondering who else is still going?

I'm like 90% sure I'll be able to make it, only issue for me is the 12 hour long drive.

I hope to be there but wife has some medical stuff planned earlier in the week so I may not be able to make it.
