I'm traveling from oklahoma! This will be my first time in California too. It should be exciting. It was a spontaneous decision to go, and I'm really looking forward to it.

How late do you figure they'll leave the online ordering open since we can't buy tickets on site?

Ticket sales end on April 30th

I'd wager its more likely a factor of the number of attendees since they are limiting the tickets, they didn't list the number though.

I thought I had seen at one time, a map of the trails and of the event and the setup of vendors and whatnot. Does anyone have it or was I dreaming of it.

I haven't seen anything like that here or on bookface.

I just hope it doesn't get canceled due to the bad beer that's going around. I really need this trip.

Ditto.
Waiting to hear back from my father in law to see if he can go.
I hope ANY of us are going at this point.

Was there an active “add to cart” button, or did you have to contact PL directly? I selected the military option, but it just says “coming soon,” and no way to add to cart.
Maybe something changed? I was able to just select the military option and add to cart...

More & more states are imposing statewide restrictions (such as Nevada earlier today). For now, California hasn't imposed statewide restrictions. As long as California doesn't impose statewide restrictions, there's still The possibility that BTF 2020 will take place as scheduled.

Dont forget they mentioned postponing it too, more build time right!
Just like Scale Nationals...tho, I decided to go to Vegas anyway.

I would be Ok with a slight delay.
Finished dorking around with my rampage pro.
Time to get to work on the cwarlers!!!

Stay healthy everyone.

I'm just going to throw this out there for PL to consider, if they have not already. This information might be helpful to Paul and PL staff in decision making.
I'm sure it's a huge balancing act as to when to make an official announcement of postponement, considering how it might affect the level of attendance they were previously expecting, or would like to see as many of the attendees are possibly coming from 300 to 3000 miles away:

The ability to keep time off may be affected when people who have recently been displaced from work to shelter in place are asked to come back to work.

Let's take a survey:

1. How many attendees are traveling from far over 300 miles land or air?

2. How many will be able to keep their travel plans (either with work, or with the airlines coming back online) to travel in or to California?

3. Will your employer cancel your vacation requests?

I like the May date as it's not too hot, not too cold... just right. :ror: Let's hope this all blows over in the next 2-3 weeks and we find normal again.

"thumbsup"

I'm traveling over 300 miles.
I don't know if airlines will still be going. I'm supposed to fly into Vegas.
My employer wont cancel my vacation.

This survey would be better suited on bookface. way more people watching there.
