Projects

I asked Michael about it again cuz I couldn't remember how much of a hill there was, but he doesn't seem to think it'd be worth bringing it...but we could always rig something up like tying it to a 4 wheeler and dragging some poor fool around

Our taco averages about 16mpg...the G8 averages 20mpg but gets about 27mpg on the hwy.

The trike has pedals, so if nothing else we can mess around @ low speed"thumbsup"

Hmmmm... Anybody else notice rigs keep getting broke at Derrick's? What kind of backyard, voodoo, mojo, hexes you puttin on everybody Derrick? :lmao:

Just some hills thats all or nothing. If you don't make it.......it can be a hard tumble and possibly into a tree  But you don't break if you climb it. I would know from experience

Reinforcing the seat on the drift trike since someone bent it....I won't mention any names *cough* Ryan *cough*

So who is building one now that you have rode mine? 8)

I'm building four currently and took ceasers head virginity this passed week, 45-50 MPH on a drift trike is awesome!!!! Now to make mine faster than the North Carolina boys.

Anyone got any "rock crawling" projects going. I know some of you are building the "lightweight" rigs. Where's some photos so we can discuss what we think is wrong with it and bash you a little....

Bored and eager to get back out on the rocks. Hope some of you guys are too?

I do...but at this point it's just a box full of parts because I'm still waiting on some of the most important parts.

The lightweight stuff is right up Sterling's alley...

Still too hot for me...I haven't touched my crawler since the crawl-off. I do want to change a few things before next season. (shocks, maybe chassis if I find a white ss cheap)

The SS chassis should be popping up for sale all over the place before too long with the Sniper being available and most people making the switch.

Well when you get it together we want to see it. I am still eating popsicles to get parts for my new "lightweight" chassis.... Actually, I have made some changes to my rig but it's just catching up to everyone else by adding some of the VP parts. I'll try to get some photos of it posted, like anyone wants to see my crap, but at it will be a start for some discussion. I broke some parts at the Atlanta comp and had to replace them. It seems I'm always testing lately and hopefully making it better. I know everyone else is doing the same and keeping quiet about it. We'll drag it out of them sooner or later.

You ought to come out with me and Jeremy at the night location. Plenty of lights and the weather is much better. Nice spot too. Lots of hard gates. It's a great spot to test.

who is building light weight rigs? and what all are you guys doing to shave weight? so far I have a new chassis and shed all the additional weights that i had on my axles shedding some weight off of my delrin lower links to lighten them up and make them slide over the rocks easier. Ill post some pics of mine when I am happy with final weight, which i doubt will be anywhere near these really light weight rigs.

Alot of aluminum, titanium and Carbon Fiber. Ray I'll try and post picts as soon as my Lowes get here from T1e this week. Hopefully they work its a trial set. I can still loose more weight off the axles.
