Sterling's wiring is coming along...reduced clutter is the name of the game!

The big shrink wrap on the BEC wires has to go...I thought it might shrink enough, but instead it just looks like POO!

Looking good except for the cat turd on the back
 
Sterling...yeah i like making everything black so i removed the blue shrinkwrap from the bec...shortenend all the fxr wires and tucked the.on off switch wires into the cases. I ran out of butane before i could finish the motor wires and battery plug. Ill pick up some more heat shrink this week too.

Cool deal I love a all blacked out rig. You mean you actually use butane at home. Figured you'd have a soldering station.
 
Yeah I don't like dealing with the cord on an electric soldering iron.

Michael...the sammy project is gonna be FUN! Just wait til it cools down...it sucks working on a rig in the summer! In other words collect all the pieces and parts and then attack it as soon as it cools down!

Thats the plan. For now I am gonna get back on the road as is. May try and find some used black steelies 15x8 5-5.5 and a decent set of used 31x10.5 15 Tires to get it back road worthy."thumbsup" Let me know if any of you know where some can be had.
 
Let me check with my neighbor...hes got sime wheels and tires. Oh yeah...he also said hes considering selling his sammy...$15,000....and thats a bargain!

Hey limited, you going to build a 1.1 crawler/trail rig?
 
But you could sell the wheels EASY...depends on how much he wants if it's worth it...and don't worry about the BS yet...the yota axles are 6x5.5 so whatever wheels you get now won't work later!
