yep i know who to call to weld my front tube bumper up when i get home from texas. :ror:

todays progress:

clear headlight lenses installed
winch controller modded (now powers from the bec thru the rx)
rear window installed
some d-rings added on the rear

tomorrows to do list:

paint winch mount and d-rings
pack it up for texas.

I finally got motivated to build my new sliders. I think they came out pretty good, but they might need to be tucked into the chassis a little more, but they're fine for the time being. They will tuck in a little further still...the front mount isn't bolted to the frame yet...

I bought a bender out of the classifieds...it was called a Juggsterr I believe...theres a user on here by that name so I assume he built it. It looks like the ones with the base with two pins sticking up and the aluminum handle with a pin that draws the rod/tube around one of the other pins...pretty simple, but it works really well. I'm still working on figuring out how to plan my bends a little more...depending on the degree of the bend it will suck more material from either end which can end up putting the bend in the wrong place by as much as 1/4" from what I've seen so far.
