Projects

* I did a bit of body and fab work for Stink-Bait since he is about to go through some shoulder surgery. Did some of the basic wiring cleanup and relocation first. The RC4WD truggy is tough to work around but after a bit of cutting we have come up with some progress. The bed is made out of a hardened cardboard sprayed with truck bed liner, but will be redone using a diamond plate. Used the Gear Head lift kit to help with relocation and also made a homemade mount for the RC Rock Armor rear bumper. Also tested my Dinky RC interior out and seemed to fit like it should. I ended up using some stock light housing from my honcho extra parts bag, recessed them into the body for the headlights. Also did the simple tow shackle trick with the link ends, (idea from Drail).. Still much more to do!

* On the other hand, I did get to work on my rig for a bit as well.. I installed a bit wider wheel hexs to give it some more offset. Also wired the interior LED with a deans thru plug for that 3s power! Installed the Gear Head roof rack, now waiting for a CDL 5'' LED bar!

Just saw that RPP was starting to ship out the new Vaterra Ascender's! I really want to see how well they work for the hype its been getting..

That and the battery plate is mounted to hinged system that moves when flexed/articulated.. Sounds interesting for sure!

the battery plate is similar to some of the old comp rigs when we were first putting the battery up front. it should work fine for a scaler as long as it doesn't bind or resist the suspension.

Started working on my 6x6, chassis is done

Got my fifth wheel and body parts in, and done a camo paint job. I filled in the square headlights and mounted axial light buckets. Still need to make a front bumper and install the front and rear winches
