Decided to strip my honcho down and build something different, a Honcho at birth and a Wroncho Unimog when finished. Ive never brazed a chassis before or rebuilt a RC from the ground up. But i will give it my all anyways. I will Update the build as i go, Enjoy !

Build Parts
Gmade XD 103mm shocks
VP light bar
Robinson Racing hardened steel trans gears
aluminium transmission case
RR bearing kit
junfac drive shafts
CCBEC
Hacked 8channel fly sky
BRXL with Torquemaster pro 35t
2.2 Pit bulls
crawler innovations foams
Hitec HS-7950
VP links/knuckles

I wanted the Color scheme to be black and green. So started with some wraith axles and some Green HR Links (Soon after found out they were a waste of money and broke before they even got used) Put some VP links on order...wish they came in colors but oh well, i hear they're tough. "thumbsup"

Not the best job but i can clean it up. Trying my best to create what i see in my head is pretty tough...Lots and lots of trial and error going on. I designed it to be a forward cab to access battery easily. the pivot is where the bumper and the cage meet.

Here is a Mock up, you can see how the forward cap part works a little better in this picture. 4 thumb screws and it flips forward to access the battery.
Sorry Work station ALWAYS looks like a bomb went off lol...

Interesting...nice job so far.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Mog's.

This is a unique twist with the Wraith axles & 2.2's.

Some Mock up before i start to paint the cage. Originally wanted to paint the cage neon green and have everything else black/gunmetal but no matter how many places i went to or paints i tried i couldn't find a neon green paint that didn't just rub off easily or turn chalky like sidewalk paints. So ended up trying for black later tonight after i sand off the mess of chalky green paint i just applied.

sorry for the finger..using my phone.

Finished Painting the frame and attached everything to it. Worked on the link setup the rest of yesterday. Finally came up with something that works well and is pretty bulletproof and i can keep my drive shaft angles and transmission config . Ran a 4mm Steel rod through the frame from one side to the other threaded the ends and put lock nuts and aluminum spacers from Ace Hardware.

VP links came in!"thumbsup" Thats the Girlfriends Scx10 there in the background getting new tires and foams.

She decided to paint the wheels and the screws.
this little truck crawls like a monster believe it or not...

I really like the build. I'm having a MZ hilux truggy being built. All I need now is wraith axles, wraith links and I think that might be it

Started Working on the Electrical finally. Made some brackets from Styrene for some LED's to mount to. I do Most of my crawling at night Due to Work schedule so ill be adding a Few Lights around the truck for my night crawls. 8)

Chaos...

RockKooki Completely Agree!! they look good, and your totally right on the 2.2 TSL's i have a set and they are more scale than the rock beasts but when i mounted them up there was no going back!

Thank you Tuner, i tell you i messed up more times than i can count but trial and error and eventually it increasingly got easier. My next project will be some sorta custom roll caged 6X6 Possibly trying for a 8x8, but that's another story....
