Pro-Line 1985 Toyota HiLux SR5 2-Piece Body for 12.3"

I need to know if the roll bar pictured is available. If so when and where? If not why not?
I E-mail proline about the bumpers and roll bar. They replied that some parts were custom made for the pictures and some were repurposed. There was a link to a light bucket kit. I'm guessing everything else was custom made.

Look close at some of the pictures.... And you see that there is a fair amount of parts from BRG on the rigs as well as some other vendors..

Good point! I've learned not to expect super high quality when it comes to Pro-Line bodies though. I like this body, but it's got issues. I was hoping that it would be of better quality than the last several bodies I've bought from them, but it looks like Pro-Line is staying consistent with their quality.

Are we gonna get to see this new Toyota body at Adair park next weekend?

Yup. This replaced the Monte body on my flag ship crawler. Gave it what might be the worst paintjob of my existence too. I figured that way I wouldn't worry about thrashing the body like I tend to do. Yes, I no like scratches  I'll get a couple of pictures up when it's all stickered up and ready to go.

WOO HOO!! Thank you for measuring!!

Thank you proline for the drop bed, Keep it a running theme on the next truck bodies ! :)

I finally received the one I ordered direct from Proline 2 weeks ago..... I am pretty disappointed. Most of the corners on mine were malformed and the lexan is very wavy so, the windows are not clear. The decal set only has about a half dozen decals for the truck and the rest were all Proline. There was no window trim and not even a TOYOTA for the tailgate. Proline advertised the wheelbase at 12.3" (313) and my truck is 12.3" (314) but the wheel wells do not line up at all.

However, the lexan is nice and thick and it should be pretty tough. It doesn't look bad now that its painted. Had to shorten the WB a bit to make the wells line up.

Mine should be here Sat. from RPP looking forward to trying an interesting paint job on it and I am paitently waiting for BGR to release the rear truggy section...throwing them on an scx10 2 that's supposed to be my wife's rig....

For those that have their bodies installed. Do you get tire rub on the fenders? I'm in the process of painting mine, but noticed while doing a quick mock up, that it looks like my tires will rub the fenders pretty bad. I'm running rc4wd Iroks at 4.6 inches tall.

Got mine all painted up. Just waiting on the roll bar, LED's for the headlights, and TOYOTA decal for the tailgate to arrive today.
