I think I will finally go for rcbros weights and dremelize the hole into it to make it fit with my lattice hubs.

No you still use a wheel nut.Haven't read the whole thing but to remove the wheels with shifts hubs, you have to remove the 6 SLW screws right?
The big bonus is the 1 piece design instead of the hex and no need for a wheel nut?
