Post your Battery Finds Here!!

I took two of the single cell packs that came in some micro air-hog helicopter and in series, they are very powerful. Lasted about a minute before they stopped working, I believe there is some circuitry on them. Car still works with the other packs, and the charger still recognizes them. I will solder into a pack without the protector, but wow the power! Anyone know what they are?

Any battery made for the micro t will fit, the micro dt or hr batterys are larger than the stock micro crawler one, which is the same as the micro t battery.

I ordered two of these...I will let you know how they work. I also ordered a 1000 Mah pack for my 1/10 crawler.

I got a coupon when I registered for 5 bucks off. So two micro packs and a spare for my 1/10 for $22 and change.

Did you ever get these batteries in the mail yet? What was the shipping price like and how long did it take if you did? Do they fit in the stock battery area?

I just got a couple of these from my LHS. $14 Canadian and they fit perfect on the rear axle, even on the servo if you trim the body.

Quick question for those running none losi lipos, what are you doing about not over discharging, just guessing when to stop?

Yeah, I haven't ran it yet but it'll be the same as all my rigs. When it starts losing power a bit, switch it out. After a bit I'll get used to what the battery can do and maybe push it a bit more but I'll be careful at first for sure.......

The esc has built in lipo cutoff. Not sure why it would matter what brand lipo you're using. My other esc's with lipo cutoff don't care what brand I'm using. Maybe I'm missing something here?

Mind letting me know which lhs you got these from?

They're at PM HobbyCraft for $13.99 plus I put some micro deans on them. Tested one out last night and got about 15 minutes before it started losing power. It lasts longer and has more wheelspeed than the stock battery and it never heated up the motor or ESC more than what I'd consider average.

RClipos.com (out of CA I think) has these for $10.95 and they are in stock. I haven't used them before so don't know about their shipping/ service....
