Pics of your latest purchase

Fish RC Parts 70mm DSM and Panhard for the Chy-Na LCG Gyshia cloner. Picked up the 78mm one last week, not realizing I needed the 70mm setup.

Mount and balance for my new setup for the ol work truck…

33x12.5x20 Trail Grapplers on 20x8.5 OEM Ford wheels. Had to use a 1/4” spacer to clear the knuckle but no rubbing! I’m honestly not in love with it at the moment but I think it’ll grow on me. For the past 3 years all I’ve seen are black wheels, fender flares & mudflaps.

Those are good-looking wheels, I'll admit.

Probably among my favorites that are designed to run that low of a profile rubber.

They look as if they are in a satin smoked or gunmetal color, correct?

Far nicer than a pure chrome!

Agreed! I think it’s a solid setup

SLN, wheels and tires look good. OEM appeal is just clean.

Thanks guys. The more I look at them the more I like them. I don’t know the actual paint code, but it’s very close to my Sterling Grey (UJ).

Picked up the new IERC Element Stealth Transmission LDT mount and the IERC patch. The LDT mount is similar to the Artful Dodgers FoxBelly LCG motor mount. I have a new build in mind and this mount will be installed in it sometime in the future.

Also, I do have the Artful Dodgers FoxBelly V2 LCG mount on order and it is currently on its way here from Poland.

After seeing B-mow’s post about the IERC ldt, I grabbed one also. Going to try it out in this tube buggy I picked up. Been wheelin’ and dealin’ a bunch of stuff lately. Some pics of my recents. Had a lot going on lately, so I didn’t get pics of the mount or the wof, but they were grey 101’s with orange delta rings I sold and black .475 hubs. The mikes rc metal works chassis came with vanquish 10.2 F9’s that I sold and a vanquish 3 gear. I’m going to do the IERC ldt with stealth and I bought a phoenix straight axle kit for the f10 straights.
Bought some 1.9 enduros, and traded the 2.2 enduros to dred for these grey visions. Also traded some other wheels and parts for the cnc customs.

Dang Fricker, you have been busy! Nice tube buggy!"thumbsup"

New parts arrived. I forgot to mention that I ordered a delrin skid from GSpeed to use with the IERC LDT. It should be here today.

Ordered the brass portal covers from Vanquish for my Phoenix. Also picked up a cheap set of high clearance stainless links on the Amazon. I'll be only using the rear lower links on my Phoenix.

After buying the 78mm, then the 70mm DSMs for my Chy-Na Li'l Gyshia build, I figured out I can't use them. The 78mm one is just too wide for this build and the DSM type of mount wont work on this rig as there is absolutely ZERO Room for a servo, let alone a output gear and servo horn to have room under full compression. So I looked around and found the GSpeed Lay Down Servo Mount that you can add a rear mount for a winch if needed/desired. Best part is being lay down, it allows the suspension to fully compress and not have the servo top/horn in the way.

With the 324mm links its a very tight fit between the axle and the chassis once the front suspension is compressed.

As you can see, there is no room at all here for a horn let alone a servo top.

This is going to work out much better for obvious reasons. Now on to the electronics.

Much better.

Another LCG trans mount has arrived. The Artful Dodgers Foxbelly V2 LCG mount looks great in blue. Took 3 weeks to get here, but I think it’ll be worth the wait!

Any thoughts on the artful dodgers mount vs the ierc mount?

I'm curious also. I think it's safe to say the AD mount is the first of it's kind but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a slight difference in the IERC one to play it's own part. Probably the main difference is the lead time for us stateside folks lol.

Here's a side-by-side. I'll have more pics and thoughts in a new thread coming soon. They are very similar and yeah @Goro, I think the AD Foxbelly is the first of kind.

There is slight differences. The IERC does not come with a delrin skid (I purchased the Vader skid separately), the Foxbelly does and it is nice. The IERC does have the bent alum piece that bolts to the original trans mounts that allows to zip ties wires to it and the Foxbelly has addition slots in the motor plate that allows for wires to be zip tied. The IERC is fast shipping. I received it from California to Ohio in a couple days. The Foxbelly comes from Poland and does take a little time, but quicker than expected and the shipping only cost $1, yes one dollar! Hard to believe!!!

I haven’t raced in about 12 years. Gave up Rc’s for a while after 5th scales fizzled out and the 1/8 nitro buggy and 1/10 short course wasn’t doing it for me. Then I got into crawlers a few years ago, and now that I’m back in SoCal it’s connected me with some guys who race as well as my dad who picked it back up while I was in Oregon. So when this Kyosho MP10E came along for a good price from a guy I know I decided to jump on it. Going to slap some electronics in it and see if I remember how to drive fast

Yeah I miss racing. I have a fleet that just sits. Maybe it's time to sell the race fleet.
Heck I probably couldn't get the darn things around the track now.
What little time I have now is spent briefly with trail trucks.
My daughter and I also have a couple SRT4's we are working on.

Nice find on the Kyosho! I don't know much about the newer Kyosho buggies, but I started my racing career back in 1987 with a Kyosho Turbo Optima. Retired from racing back in '94 because of too many hotheads and know-it-alls'!
