RCDriver is at the Vegas Trade show. At 12:25 he shows what is apparently the nee Optic Kit that is coming.

Nice, have you started the build? I am very tempted to build one of his Chassis. The process seems to be impressively clear and concise.Nice.
I was trying to hold out for an Optic kit but I went and committed to building a Harley Jimmy's buggy instead.
The Traxxas Mini Maxx was the other really interesting thing that has come from that show.
I have been printing up the jigs and using this as an excuse to buy some tools that I've wanted for a while.Nice, have you started the build? I am very tempted to build one of his Chassis. The process seems to be impressively clear and concise.
Has he released a second design? I thought I saw something about it but haven't come acrossnitnin awhile
Nice. It's a cool project.I have been printing up the jigs and using this as an excuse to buy some tools that I've wanted for a while.
Got my tig welder and vertical bandsaw setup last weekend and hope to get started cutting some tubing this weekend.
The Optic is super fun. Definitely my favorite rig these days.I’ll never be a fabricator. I hate it. And I’ve hated it since my first attempt as a 10-ish year old kid when a dog bit my Hornet and tore the front of the body off. My dad gave me sheet metal and tin snips and said make a hood out of metal. It happened, but it wasn’t fun for me. So Josh’s buggy project isn’t for me, but it is an awesome idea and appears to be very well thought out.
The H10 kit is more my speed.
I hope it happens. I haven't heard anything else mentioned about it. I think perhaps Greg either accidentally leaked some privileged info or he is telling stories...hahaI've been holding off temptation to buy the Optic RTR just in case there was a kit coming in the future. Great to hear that it may be happening. I was hoping with the upcoming holidays coming that VP would surprise us.
It looks like a fun rig and there are so many cool option parts for it already. The Optic is super fun. Definitely my favorite rig these days.
Not too many Dad's were overly engaged back in the day. Outside of sports my old man couldn't have cared much less about my interests.
Sharp metal is a memorable lesson. Broken glass is up there too.
Did you listen to what he said?SBG does a slight comb over of the Vanquish table at the 6:54 mark, but I don't necessarily see a H10 kit in SBG's or RCDriver's video. Am I missing something or are we thinking the purple, black and sea foam green colored H10 is the kit?
RCDriver? @12:25 or roughly around that never says anything about a h10 kit...Did you listen to what he said?
Interesting, i just went back and watched again. He obvuously went back and edited the video. There is a rough cut after he shows the Falken Phoenix. Originally he took video of the Optic and spoke about the coming kit and how each kit would contain a random colored set of body panels. Said the purchaser would not know the color of included panels until opening the box. He cut that entire section out.RCDriver? @12:25 or roughly around that never says anything about a h10 kit...
Did you do a build thread on this rig?I really like the optic myself but I wanted portals.. just because of the terrain here. I tell you what.. the portal optic I built was a killer this weekend and was worth all the headache of figuring out the links and what not. Really glad I put the Carbon transmission in with 21% od as well. A kit would be rad though
Not yet, but I can or I’ll add the details to my what’s Fricker08 working on in the 1.9 scale rig sectionDid you do a build thread on this rig?
