We appreciate all the excitement from just one day of ticket sales"thumbsup"

There are few events held in the US like this. With motorama canceled this year and the west coasts main event. This will be an event not to miss for certain.

Again give a thanks to all the sponsors who are helping out and making this a great event.

Glad to see half the 2.2 driver package tickets gone the first day. Guys this is a good deal even if you don't have a 2.2s but are thinking about it. For me personally I bought a 2.2drivers package ticket and haven't even started on my 2.2s. But for another possible 6 cool courses against some great drivers, I am going to do my best to put one together8)

From the feedback I have heard from ECC the 2.2s just may be the most fun of all?

Also for the sponsors, we are having a "vendors row" so bring your products and be prepared to give a good showing! This is a chance for you to show the drivers just what you can offer"thumbsup"

Edit...we will not be staying at the Days Inn...will update later on...

Thanks for finding this out! I have been tied up and failed to follow through on better hotel choices.

'Update...in an attempt to keep things low cost and follow suit on the "usual" place to stay when attending events such as ECC...the Days Inn in Springfield which is approx. 15 miles from the comp location has rooms for the best rates. A room with 2 double beds goes for around $60 per night. If you have AAA it's even cheaper. They serve breakfast and their rooms are all interior...unlike the Days Inn in Alabama.

I booked our room just now.

I also called all of the other hotels on that same exit and the ones in Fairborn, but they were all at least $20 more per night with most of them being around $90.

No problem...checking on another option before I completely commit to the Days Inn though...I think I found a better option for close to the same price on the same exit.

holycaveman...PM sent "thumbsup"

I'm sorry to tell you that that place sucks. For battle grounds last year we stayed there. Had 3 rooms in 2 nights.

First room was queen bed smoking. Second room was right. Came back second night and they gave our room to someone else. We had to get a third room. WTF

I just plan to sleep in my truck...somewhere. I'm too cheap to but gas for the 1.3 hour drive home and back and to cheap to get a room.

Thanks for the heads up. Think ittybitty is try to find something a little better but in the same price range. Also hope we can all get on the same page on where we are staying. Thats a intergral part of the fun we have at these events."thumbsup"
