Newbie Help|Cant Bind Axial Ax-3/AR-3

I Need help... :x I am following the steps exactly and it hasn't worked this is really frustrating.. Anyways here is exactly what i am doing..
Plug the binding plug into receiver. Power on Esc, AR-3 is now flashing. Push and hold bind with the bind plug thingy on the Ax-3 transmitter green light is now flashing on transmitter while the red light isn't on receiver. Unplug bind plug while everything is on then power down esc then transmitter. Power transmitter up solid green light, then i power the esc up and now the red light is flashing again on the receiver. No response to anything I do on the radio.. Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong?
I don't know if this matters or not but i'm running Traxxas Waterproof XL-5 ESC, Traxxas Waterproof servo, Venom 8000 MAH 20c 7.4V Lipo and Axial 55T Motor...Thanks.

Did you hold down the bind button while turning on the transmitter or did you press it after turning on the transmitter?

Probably time to call Axial support for help.

Yeahhh I already tried but figured out there closed on the weekends just thought I'd give it a try on the forums. I'm Jonesin for some Rc crawling

Well.. They said it was faulty and are sending me a new one...:roll:

with one of my Futaba receiver, I actually had to touch the radio antenna to the receiver antenna.

I thought that would be the case. Axial has really good customer service.
