Hey guys,
I am new to RC all together and looking to get my first truck soon. I live and fridley and hope to be meeting some of you guys down the road. I am looking at the wraiths, looks like a cool truck. I am also interested in picking up a 1/18th scale RC to race my buddy in his little back yard track.

Well I did it, got a wraith! Hope to see you guys out and about.

Hey RC crawling peeps - my names Franklin Marquette AKA MrSTUDofRC on RCSparks - I used my old internet username because for some reason "MrSTUDofRC" was already taken - anywho im in Little Falls(central MN) and I recently had to sell a lot of my RC's to tackle a pretty big purchase - im new to surface RC's(4 years) relative to how long ive been playing around with flying stuff so I sold more ground RC's than flying ones - now for surface im left with my heavily modded Traxxas Summit and my Traxxas Rustler - is there any way I could enter the Summit into some crawling competitions or will I just have to wait until I have the money to buy another crawler - im looking at the new G6 Falken SCX-10 but once again I have to wait until I have the money - if not I can always show up to some casual trail runs:ror:

THANKS!

Sadly the summit won't fit into the normal comp crawling classes (nor would it fit through the gates lol )

However for the next G6 event up by Duluth and the Howl crawl bring her on out. It won't fit into a G6 class for the time/places but run her along with us anyway.

Okay sweet i'll plan on that - thanks man!

Hi...my name is Jim. New to scale rigs and crawling. Are there others on the NW side of the twin cities? Looking for places to drive with others and learn. I see the 2014 schedule for competitions but wondering if there is "open driving" as well or just the competition?

If you want to, come up to a comp with your rig and hang out. While the comp is going on there are plenty of people running their rigs around and B.S.ing. Don't feel like you have to comp your rig to come out.

Hey Jim, welcome to the hobby. I'm in coon rapids so not too close. There are several guys in the Rogers elk river area. Priv_joker and sprdrty (not sure if I got those right).

Hey man. Welcome to the forums. There are some pretty good places to crawl. Spend some time perusing the list of places in the stickies here.

Our next crawling comp is this weekend. Your scx10 is perfect for our 1.9 trail class. If you're available on Sunday come on out to Taylor's falls at interstate state park. We get going around 10 but the 1.9 is the last class we run so if you show up around 11:30 it would be plenty early.

The rocks we use are by the parking lot in the lot for the park in town.

I am new to the rock crawling I am in western WI and can't find anyone over here that just gets together for fun. Anyone interested. I would eventually like to do compatitions. Thanks

Hey man. Check pretty frequently and you'll see folks posting up for a trail run. We start our snow crawl series in about a month. It's really laid back. Glad to see you there if u can make it. It's in Fridley. The normal season has a lot of runs around Taylor's falls plus most of our comps are there.

Also if you are on Facebook, there are two pages to find. Mn crawlers comp and scale, and Mnrcrc.

Hello all, I've made a few posts here and there but am brand new to the crawler side of the hobby.
I started with an assembled dingo a friend put together and have gone from there.
It now has a vanquish 12.3" 3 link with a jeep body as long as several other upgrades.
I often find myself spending more time building then running them, not unlike my traxxas builds, time and health issue often keep me indoors.
I look forward to learning and sharing along the way.
I'm already extremely impressed with the knowledge and bad ass rigs I've heard and seen here.
Also like not having to moniter every word out of my mouth.
Hope to make many friends and expand my knowledge of the crawler world.

Hey man, glad to have you on the forums. Be sure to use the heck out if the search function. Another thing that some folks don't know to use is to type your subject followed by site:www.rccrawler.com into google. It will only return things that are on this site.

What's going on fellow crawlers?! I'm J (Jeremiah for short). I'm over here in Plymouth and I'm the crawler specialist over at HUB Hobby in Richfield. I figured it was time to finally post up here since my move here from Wyoming. I've been crawling for many many moons and have posted up a few build threads on here. I'm looking forward to meeting up with you guys and hitting up the events that are going on.

Hey J, welcome to Minnesota. Looking forward to meeting you at the Winter meeting. Great to have a person with experience join the crew. Very interested to hear your insight.

Hello, I'm Blake from Eden Prairie...
I guess I'm not a 'member' of anything really, but I'm from MN... that counts, right?
Had a SCX10 for about a year and a half now that I enjoy but don't have/know many places to run it...
Hope to make an event or two this next season and get some more use out of my truck!
