Looks like a 2008 Countach to me.
Well said. I agree that alot of cars should not be on the road. Like them stupid ass looking DONK or as I call them, DORK things that rappers and gangsters do drivebys in. They are about the unsafest looking and impractick things on the roads. Ive even seen one in a pic that was a olds Delta 88 with leafs in the front and then coils under that, all to clear some 30" or some shit wheel/tire combo. Here is another car that should be impounded and dismantled. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veDd_seg26Y&feature=relatedIf it can be made legal, great. If you can build it, awesome. If you can afford it, more power to you. Perhaps I came across as narrow minded, I apologize for the misunderstanding. I can applaud the efforts of an individual who is willing to put their blood, sweat and tears into a project vehicle. However, I tend to fall on the more practical side of things and look at a vehicle for what purpose it would serve. If I were to build a street machine, the last thing I would deem appropriate are things such as a front splitter, undertray and a huge wing out back.
One thing that you might not understand, and I could be wrong here, but designing a proper racecar takes a team of very talented people who have vast amounts of knowledge in many different areas such as aerodynamics, suspension theory, IC theory not to mention proper producton methods (ie no stick welding).
It is impossible to build a vehicle that has the highest performance in every situation. That is why racecars are specialized. The best example of a well rounded race car is a WRC rally car. Well suited to tarmac and "dirt roads".
Rereading the thread it is apparant that we are arguing two different things. Correct me if I am wrong, but you state that anything can be made to pass a vehicle inspection. I think that some cars should not be modified to be street legal. I would by lying if I said that I don't work on cars and that I did not want to put an LS3 in my 240SX. I would also by lying if I told you I would be doing that as I intend on driving it every day.
So in summary, I think that it is awesome for someone who can afford, build and make legal any vehicle they want for the street. Do I think it is the right decision for some vehicles, no. But that is my story and I am sticking to it.
And just so you know, I would NEVER have siding on my home.
I'd rather have this:
This would smoke that Lambo

if you havent heard of the zonda then youve been living under a rock, the zonda is out dated and old technology. sorry.
this is where its at, the Koenigsegg CCGT, they actually had to de-tune it for racing, they had to remove the two superchargers, add 100kg of weight and air restrict the horsepower to 591 hp. beat that.
