Nice job! I have the New Bright and the Traxxas and no doubt you put a lot to get those in the New Bright.

Thank you..Looking at my real Traxxas Bronco is what made me attempt it. Lol
I was actually able to get all the light buckets in with the original Traxxas brackets which allowed for the spare tire mount to fit also in the rear.
Not sure I would want to tackle it again. [emoji1]

Now that the light project is complete here is part 2..

Beginning stages of making a matching pull along gear/utility trailer..nevermind the black tape..it's keeping the plastic melding in place until it cures.
Waiting on a 182mm axle before I can move much further.

1/8" diamond plate rubber mat glued to the aluminum bed..that will be the finished bed..my last trailer build was on a TRX4 Sport frame with full suspension..see it in this link..

I think this one will have much simpler mechanics for axle and trailer tongue.

PVC weld has cured so adding some scale items and was able cut down a New Bright bumper from a Raptor or H3 for a more rugged look and to reinforce the front of the trailer..red lights will go in the rear buckets and some 3mm amber lights will be installed on the front where the amber paint is near the sides of the trailer..the front of the trailer is the original left/right doors from the Bronco body fused with pvc perma-weld..those were the molded in door handles that will be turned into marker lights.

That's so cool! Although, do you realize you'll now need to spend an other $100 to put the matching tail lights on the trailer?

Thanks!

Lol, if I went that route it would be around $50..you can get all the individual pieces separately..
Normally on a trailer build I wire everything in with a 9 volt plug system that is enclosed in a self contained case with a on/off switch so the trailer lights function independently of the tow rig..that way I can eliminate a mess of wires and plugs needed to tie into the rig lighting system that would have to be hooked up/unhooked each time the trailer was used.

Here's a previous build showing a trailer sitting separately from a TRX4 chassis tow rig with all lights functioning independently..
Once I get a tongue installed on this current trailer I will probably use the same type of setup.

Other than installing lights and doing some final touch up paint (underneath and tongue) she is pretty much completed..had to install a ball coupler on my tow rig that mates up perfectly with a Traxxas rod end..

Thanks for following along..hope everyone has a great New Year and much RC'ing!

Excellent work!!!! That entire rig looks awesome!!!

Nice work on the trailer, it looks very polished.

This is a cool build! The lights look great!

Using different spare parts in other ways like the bike tie down and tire stop and others is genius!:)
