Well well, had a wraith many years ago and then went all scale over landies and ZILs but finally grabbed a NIB 1.9 RTR.

Ordered a load of “necessities” and started working on it as postman knocks 📦💪🏼

Let me post what’s up so far and ask some questions as I believe there are many here that knows better than me.

No it was basically an Axial SCX10II with a slightly modified Wraith cage.

A set of universals, some good tires, and links would be some of my first mods. IIRC the rear of the body hung out pretty far and it would hang up and tear. I think there were some aftermarket bumper mounts? Protecting that body would be a good idea too since they are no longer available.

hmm. Don’t remember any with cages, more detailed super scale bodies; mostly older trucks, military, haulers, farm trucks type of thing…

Now I think I read it wrong with the ZIL’s not in a 1.9 flavor?

Lets see pics!

Oh now I see I will struggle inserting photos. What would be the best way of doing so other than uploading them to somewhere first?

This thread is about a 1.9 wraith rtr

Congrats on the Wraith 1.9! I always thought they were cool, but disliked my Wraith 2.2 enough to not get one. I think I just didn't put enough effort into the Wraith. Would be nice for Axial to re-release those, but I don't see that ever happening. The trend right now is moon buggies.
