Hello
I am trying to make my CC01 keep up with my scx 10 and wraith on the trails. I have found a way to install a set of scx10 shcoks and df03-ra lower arms onto the CC01 chassis, but I can not find any cvd or dogbone to go from the front diff output to the cup in the knuckle. I had spent some time on this then it got sidetracked for other projects. I believe I need a 60mm-70mm shaft, or if anyone has ever made a custom shaft. I have tried to lengthen the shafts by soldering it into a piece of brake line, but I could not get the solder to hold.
Thanks for any help.

60-70mm seems quite long to me. That's almost the length, if not longer than the suspension arm itself. Stock DF03 dogbones are only about 45mm or so. Can you get a pic with a ruler of the arm at flat height? HPI RS43 dogbones may work (for 200mm sedan) or SNR bones which are a bit longer.

I JB welded a few shafts into brake line and it has held up well. They were thicker and were a press fit - the JB weld was just for insurance. I would drill a small hole and pin them as well for wheel shafts. Center shaft in the pic below - used HPI dogbones cut in 1/2.

I can definitely try jb weld on the axles, never even thought of that. I just measured them again It looks like at least 60mm from cup to cup. If I wasn't such a noob I might be able to figure out how to load pics.

I brazed my rear axle shafts with un coated brake line with some 45% silver brazing rod with a map torch and it holds great. When I went to run longer cvds I just took the rig to the Lhs and dug through the mip cvd tote till I found a pair the right length.
