Need Help! Anyone Know Bananaclip or live near Elkins, WV?

You should ask her for pictures. So you can see if its just junk and hopefully no one elses stolen property.

Well Im fairly certain he was only building me something so it is unlikely they belong to anyone else. But I asked for pics anyways just to see what it entailed.

Well no email back....but I did receive a "Sorry we missed you note" from USPS from someone in Elkins, WV. So I'm assuming its the box she promised to send. I just gotta somehow make it to the post office before they close one of these days. So lame they close at 5pm...dont they know most people work until that time? LOL.

Will update with what happens.

Reading that first sentence made me pause and think. I concluded that, it is a good idea, until I read further that you meant rc stuff.

Well got the box. Not all my stuff, but definitely better than nothing. At this point I'm gonna take what I can get. Got about 2/3 the value of my stuff back. Thanks for the thoughts and support guys.

You did well ! Good luck with it now!

Hang up and Drive

Thanks. Think due to time constraints with house projects/life and having not gone out to crawl in easily 6 months I may thin the herd and start from the basics of a scx10v2 rtr. Just get back into enjoying the hobby from barebones.

Got my unimog, 1/6 willies, NB JK brute, and hilux which are all over the top rigs which is cool because they react and drive so differently.

Thinking going with a V2 rtr due to its amazing performance out of the box and thin the herd since they are just collecting dust.

Have a good one everyone.

Just caught up. Glad you got almost all your stuff back. Better than nothing and good on his wife.

I hear you on the life thing. Was knee deep in my bomber build, got promoted at work, life got stupid busy and needed a quick outlet. 1/5 scale fit the bill for a while Afro the hour of free time. RC is a common way to relax for me. Wish I had more time to do it.

Thanks. Yeah I've reached out to her again to say thanks and haven't heard anything.

Yeah just hate seeing the rigs collect dust.

Richard, My sincere apologies. I never had one negative/bad intention. I am not one to share my personal life but I will dive a little. I have always had the upmost respect for RCC and the RCC community. I always was the guy building scale rigs and helping others. I was living a dang near perfect life. Fantastic career, smoking hot wife (smart to), beautiful children, rolling to work in a sick built by me Jeep, with a 1.1 84 Toyota pickup in the garage. Then....... I lost my best friend/father to cancer..... My wife of 15 years and mother of my 3 children lost interest in me. I honestly hit the wall. I’m back on track and apologize to anyone I disappointed is my abrupt RCC absence. I’m back and plan to contribute on a slower more accurate scale. "thumbsup"
