I'm new to all of this, but after watching a few djmedic2008 YouTube videos, I got hooked. So, I went with Axial's Ridgecrest!

Here's my Ridgecrest with a new chassis from Hot-Racing
Parts list:
-Savox SC-1258TG
-HR Chubs and Knuckles
-HR Steering Linkage
-HR Front Universal Rock Crawler CVD Set
(Everything else is stock)

I've "water-proofed" all of the electronics including the servo using Plasti Dip. I've also spray painted my rims and tires and it surprisingly added grip to the crappy stock Ripsaw tires. I absolutely love this thing!

Please give me both, positive or negative feedback. Thanks!

Oh, and if anyone knows where I can find a body to fit over these kind of chassis', please let me know!

Lots of folks get down on HR stuff. I had an HR chassis that worked out great. Looks like you are having fun, keep up the good work.

Having tons of fun haha this thing is awesome. The new aluminum chassis definitely improved handling and crawling. I'll post more pictures of it going over rocks and stuff later. Thanks!

Welcome to RCC!

That HR chassis you have is sweet lookin - I've read a few other posts on here about that body and they all seem to think its the beesknees. Nice flex shot too. I'd say keep the HR body and perhaps make some custom panels for it - then just take it out and give the rocks a what-fer!

Cheers,
Doc

I love it haha but I'm having trouble finding a body that'll fit over it. Maybe someone on here knows of a body I can buy that'll fit the frame?? (Preferably a Jeep or truck body) I'm trying to go for the best of both worlds here, Scaler/Crawler. Open for any ideas!

You've got a bodliess chassis going there but I am sure you could rig a body to it some how. Jconcepts has some cool narrow cralwer bodies.
