My new Sakura D3 CS Sport

So I pulled my RX7 off the rack yesterday and took it down to A Main and dropped in a Eco Power Slingshot 17.5 turn brushless sensored motor and a Hobby Wing Brushless sensored ESC. I still need to clean the wires up and make it look a little cleaner. Enjoy.

make sure you get a belt tensioner on there. I toasted three belts in mine till they came out with one.

How does it perform now with the upgraded esc amd motor? Any hours on it since this post? Let us knowwwwww

I'm not sure yet haven't had any time on it cause I don't have a belt tensioner. I don't want to burn up a belt cause it cost to much to ship one to the US.

So it's been a while since I updated this thread. Right now it's a rwd drifter with a Protoform 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Vintage Racing Body. The driver is Dan Aykroyd from Ghostbusters 1.

It's now running,
Motor - Rocket Racing 3100kv brushless
ESC - Castle Creations Sidewinder 3
Servo - Futaba S3003
Recver - Spectrum SR200

I also threw my hpi T-drift wheel and tires on the Firebird and I made scale side exit exhaust instead of the decal ones that came with it, and I added a Yeah Racing High Precision Gyro to help keep the car in control for drifting.
