My Losi Night Crawler 2.0

is that the green rotor? iv got a d4 13.5 and a d3 13.5. the d3 has the green one. last i looked today at mine.

have you actually cooked a 13.5 on 4s? lol. i have only ran my 13.5 on 3s with my rx8 gen 2 a handful of times with temps only up to 115* f. im curious to see what 4s.. meh. nobody needs that wheelspeed. id take a reverse first.

Green is the 13.0 - Ive run that in touring car and couldnt get a big enough gear on it. Too much low end, Id say probably not needed in a Losi

The green one is for the mod motors where the winds are low and the RPMs are high, kind of like a compensator.

I would think if you needed more wheel speed then that you could go to a 10.5 motor.
Dlux ran one for some time in his Losi years ago and had good luck with it from what I recalled.

Reading thru your thread and seeing this 2.0 is making me want to pull my losi box down and rebuild my old rig! Thank you! LOL
Glad to see youre having fun with this rig, years ago i laughed at what this thing could do on the trails with mild mods for tuning the suspension! Keep up this thread with updates!

did you ever figure out what went wrong on your last post? I'm considering a LNC and was hoping to avoid some issues you have faced.
