My first built: The Fall Guy

Thanks dude! All the way to Australia ;-) I am surprised, there isn't more "scale" axles on the market - or bodies, that actually fit the available axles... someone needs to do an aluminum MRC axle housing "thumbsup"

No video - yet. But I changed back to the scx10 chassis and a 27T motor (instead of MRC electronics and trans) in order to get enough speed for jumps like the real one, because I want to make a copy of the TV trailer - jumping over cars and through glass - haha. It passed a first test already. It does crawl okay too. I wish I had more spare time and use my DSLR to take photos and vids.... difficult to do both at the same time

I know this is a older thread but I'm having the same issue with a build I'm in the middle of. I'm using a SCX10 chassis with a Tamiya FJ40 body and like your Clod body the SCX10 axles are just too wide. I've also purchased MRC axles but I'm having problems mounting the shocks. The stock axles location is too narrow for the chassis. How did you mount your shocks to the MRC axles? Any hell would be greatly appreciated.

@Staciano:

I ordered the MRC shock/link mounts from here DLUX FAB | products Look under RC crawler parts for the Mini MRC Crawler Parts - you will find them there (5$ a pair - you will need two pairs ;-) In oder to install them, you have to cut off the original mounts and drill holes through the mounts and into the axle. Easy to do. Or, you get your own delrin and cut something similar yourself. I preferred the Dlux ones "thumbsup"

love it "thumbsup"
awsome build, great theme, i love checking new posts and finding an old thread like this that has been pulled back into everyones att.....probably soooo many others just waiting to be found.

I was a huge Fall Guy fan growing up. Truck looks great.

Jody approves.

Thanks guys!
I was a huge fan too. Growing up in Germany I only knew their "german voices" Show was called "Ein Colt für alle Fälle" (A Colt for any occasion) - hilarious.

I am still working on that truck. About to tear it apart again and put that secret hiding box underneath the roll bar (for the battery), and build an interior. Stiffened the shocks and put a faster motor in it recently, so it can crawl but jump too "thumbsup"

Started too many trucks at the same time and just ordered RC4WDs Blazer.... :shock:
