My dlux hall style berg rebuild

Yeah man. I was SHOCKED when you said that you'd had too many beers. BEER? IN THE BACKYARD? Next yer gonna tell me that everyone wears red hoodies & listens to Bone Thugz.

You drove well brutha but that's nuttin new. CAN'T WAIT to get to the compound. Been practicing the 1 handed silver an-n-crawl so I'm not too far off

J.D.

Hope the shelves are stocked cause they will sell fast. These are the best things since sliced bread. Everyone needs a set. Not only are they super light but the clarence is off the hook. Keep up the good work Erik. Thanks again for everything man.

Since the new DLUX cases went on iv been changing a bunch of stuff trying to figure out how this car works again. I think i like the width right around 10 1/2" in the front and 10 1/4" in the rear. I also went back to my big boar shocks. My Holmes 35t motors took a crap on me and all the hobby store had was some 27t Holmes Hobby Trailmaster motors. Has anyone out there tried these motors yet? So thats what i put in for our comp today. And i must say these motors are great. Along with the motors the DLUX berg that i have took me to a 2nd place finish today. Thanks Erik for off the hook parts.

Its based on 50:50, but its pretty adaptable. Geo runs chaotic xr10 links which puts him at or near 50/50. I run a 45/55 set up that works great too.

I'm a forum hound when I'm not workin. HAHAHA even then i'm on here more than I should be.

A change right before nats is good right? Some might say no but when Mr Hall stops by with a brand new V4:20 Hand cut HALLSTYLE chassis you gotta make change. This new chassis comes in at 3 1/4" tall 8 1/4 long and 3" wide. The changes made are great. This chassis requires a shorter shock so i got some tuning to do in the next couple weeks. Im sure John will have some to check out at nats.

These new Hallstyle chassis are badass looking and Im sure work very well on the rocks. I like the delrin bottom and carbon upper. On my ytown SA 3.5 the carbon fiber that hits the rocks wears fairly quick. Though it isnt an issue, it still sucks.

Seriously though..I would love to crawl with and compare my SA to this exact rig. Very sick setup all around.

Thanks for the kind words man. This chassis is the sickest thing. But like ur chassis mine is also carbon on the lower as well as the upper. It just looks weird but is super strong.

My shocks seem to get hung up from time to time so I threw this together real quick. I took 2 pieces of .016 carbon and glued them together to make these sliders. Hope they work like I think they will.

Thanks curt. I guess if nothing else they will hold the shock on if the ball pops out. Lol. They won't do any good unless I get my motors back tomorrow. We leave for nats in a few days.
