My Beast SCX10 ii

Hello, everyone. New to the forums. Figured I would post an image timeline of my main rig and it's evolution. Looking forward to becoming an active member of the forums and gaining/sharing some ideas. Early Merry Christmas to everyone!


It was originally an SCX10 but I converted it to an SCX10 ii and kept upgrading and changing components. No idea how much money is in it. All steel gears and driveline. Everything chassis wise is steel or aluminum. Didn't put a lot of work into the body because it doesn't matter much to me. May do more in the future with body since winter is setting in along with cabin fever.

Here is the component list that I am able to remember.

Currie rock jock axles - complete with knuckles
Vanquish diff gears and axle shafts
Method rims including spare
Pitbull Rock Beast tires
G-made 90mm shocks with functional dampener
Vanquish shock mounts
Rock Armour rear bumper with spare tire rack
RC4WD Front recovery bumper with Warn Wench - not hooked up
Complete vanquish link set including panhard and steer
Vanquish transfer case housing with vanquish/incision gears
Lucky Eddy bearing kit on entire truck assembly
Proline roof mounted trail light
Knight Customs body panels/armor and eyebrow
Kong front shackles
Complete aluminum crossmember kit and servo mount kit
Holmes 35 turn brushed motor
Hobbywing crawler WP ESC programmed
Complete stainless steel hardware kit
MIP CVD drive shaft kit
Vanquish motor mount, bottom skid plate and spur gear cover with spur shaft
Aluminum skid plate covering base skid plate
RC4WD Rock Sliders
And some other crap I am not thinking of

Thanks! Funny you say that. Everybody I know says the same thing. Unfortunately Mr. Deadbolt is long gone. He was adopted by a stranger on eBay.
