strange problem, i used the full cab back on the mojave2 cab (grey plastic) with no bed planned. however since then i bought the marlin bed (red plastic) to go with it. seems the bed is about 8mm narrower than the cab is (4mm per side). so is there a difference and marlin is actually a few mm smaller? the half cab back looks to be the same width as the full cab back. the cab can not pinch any narrower. idk, i would have thought it would all be closer to the same size/width.

Post pictures. I've found rc4wd bodies to vary greatly from one batch to another. I had to massage my marlin bed to bolt to a much older cab. The tailgate on the marlin was bowed in almost 1/4" in the center, very obvious when paired with a simple straight tube bumper. And the fenders curved in way more than needed as they went down.

I will say the 87 extended cab body is much wider than the old Mojave cab.

sorry for blurry pics, idk what is going on with my cam atm. i know the lower rocker of the bed is pinched in, but the top is not and you can see the difference. i must state this is my first tf2 mojave body so it may just be like this, idk.

bed centered

bed offset to one side to show the total offset.

That is odd. I haven't seen that problem with the Marlin beds that I have used in the past. I've had good luck mounting them to the RC4WD Mojave cab and the Tamiya Bruiser cab. I'll have to keep this in mind on my next Mojave builds.

well, i am mounting the bed sperate from the cab and will just run with it. it looks like you could slide the whole bed into the cab like the regular tabs do lol. just thought it seemed odd, so was curious and questioned.

just a pic of the bed side spaced out to match the cab (centered). as you can see it looks narrow enough that the bed could slide into the back of the cab like the mounting tabs should. lol

I had this issue with my TF2, from the guys ive talked to, its the full cab back wall that spreads the about more than what the bed would. I just cut the tabs off of the front of the bed and mounted them seperate from one another.
