Minor Threats Ground Haug Build

Run the draglink from the servo to the knuckle, put the bent rod's link end on top of the drag link rod end at the knuckle, and turn the arm so the bend is facing up, close to the servo. The bent arm should run above the pumpkin. I got this pic from Tanis' build:

Kyosho Rock Force

i was starting to think the same thing...
no. not into that. that KRF chassis looks a lot like Darksouls MRC chassis and i'm try to steer clear of redundant things. good idea though. the only thing in the works is a plate chassis that i can mount the coupe too. miss lexan a bit... 8-(

now there's an idea! i'm guessing a 55mm rod length?

yeah, otis you can, but as it is, a bodiless chassis, you don't have too, my coupe bodies don't work so i'm having the standards made too, just to offer the same functions but with lexan lids.

Gunnar, no, i swapped it out with a 55mm which works awesome! THnx Mann0 and GUnnar!!!

Thank Tanis, it was his idea! Plus you could lose the spacer on the passenger side, I don't think it's needed.

post another picture of it from top down too.

Wonder how that well that would work with an offset servo? hmmm...

I'm really liking how much clearance you get with an OTA setup. But I still don't like the servo arm flipped up.

yeah? i'm just trying to clear the servo horn. the best servo horn i've gotten, even though it's blue! ( thnx gunnar for the SH)...i'll find tanis and thank him too. thanks for sharing the pic on that. thanks mike for the link too, and for letting me win.

The rod flips about a bit due to the brass inset ball washers but not much. my turning radius increase a bit too, now i just need a stronger servo.

I fittled with the rod ends and now's it lower. the link rod end hits the other link when turning right. when turning left, it doesn't so yeah, i need that spacer. maybe nothing more then a 6x2 though on the right.

Maybe high steer knuckles, that would move everything up and maybe take off some of the leverage (I'm messing with mine right now. Thats sort of what I planned). Just an idea.

yeah, i thought of that but want to give the knuckles I got from mann0 a good chance of doing the trick. took it out tonight and feel confident with it as it is. if i come across high-steers, i'll try 'em but so far so good.

Right on. Not sure what I have, I'll have to ask Mike. I do have a shorter turning radius and I'm stoked about that. PM me some pics when you get them mounted up.
