I wanted to introduce myself I'm with a new company called Stage 3 Racing. We have many years of experience with radio control vehicles and the machining industry. Right now we are currently working on products for the T-Maxx and AX10. I hope you all are enjoying this hobby, feel free to shoot us a E-mail anytime.

Welcome aboard!!

M24 south of Clarkston road. I started to think last night. I ha d afreind from high school that had his own shop in Troy, Anything Goes, and he recently closed the place. He moved out this way not to long back, I'm wondering if it's him in a new place? That brings up a good question for all on here... ever know or meet a guy named Dave Dittner? That's the guy I went to High school with who owned Anything Goes.
I got to know him pretty good by going to his shop and ended up working there (mostly to keep up my habit;-)). I scored my Clod axles there on a trade in.

It not him, he is staying at home with the kids. The last time I talked to him I told him about getting bit by the crawler bug and told me before he closed he got a couple of crawlers in on trade and he has been playing with those. So he might come out for a comp or GTG sometime.

I looked up the name of that new shop on Yahoo and found this address. Looks like their gonna do planes but im not sure. http://www.flightlinehobby.us/

i remember dave - i was in anything goes quite often... it was only a few miles from where i live. dave was the bigger guy, right? back when i had my clod super, i had 2 esc's and 4 wheel steering, much like the supers now. he asked me why i had 2 of them, and laughed at me - saying i only needed 1.

Thanks guys. This new hobbyshop is for now just doing planes, boats and heli's. They only opened up three weeks ago. It will be nice to have somebody close for hardware though, I'm tired of driving 30 minutes just to get screws. When you get achance to talk to Dave don't forget to tell him what he's missing not having a shop open anymore. Better yet, tell to poll all his junk together and join us!

I have hardware stores but not any that have hobby sized stuff. You know, 2-3mm, stuff like that. About as small as they go is 4mm and they don't stock up as fast I can use it!

I have a source for hardware. You can order around 50 or 100 pieces at a time. I ordered 100 1 1/4" SS 4-40 socket head cap screws and SS nylock nuts it only cost me $18 it run you guys a little more but not much. Tell me what you need and I will get prices.
I use the 1 1/4" and cut them down to the size I need."thumbsup"
